Hidden gem alert! I do not say this a lot - this place is really great. If you are looking for a home made meal - literally - something fresh and local - eat here. Mr. Mehmet is warm and welcoming and makes the food on the spot. The soup was incredible and the salad was fresh fresh fresh - he picked the herbs for the salad from pots right there on the side of the restaurant. This is not fancy - it is just great! Also, really excellent tea was given which rounded out the meal...

Mehmet is a great host. He's well connected and can help with lots of local things. The food he serves is fresh but not a la carte. İf you want something in particular speak to him the day before. Breakfast always available from 9.30. Really good values! But you can always get simple meals like meatballs, menemen, toasted sandwiches, dish of the day and so on.... one downside no toilets.... Public...

This place is amazing! Mehmet the owner is just fantastic, he is very friendly and he will show you typical foods from the region and cook with local ingredients that he has available in the kitchen.
