Dessert Shop — Restaurant in Kaş

I recently visited it and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality and taste of their desserts, especially the Ketmer. The shop owner is incredibly nice and adds a personal touch to the whole experience, making it even more enjoyable.

The Ketmer here is, without a doubt, the most delicious I have ever eaten. The layers of crispy, delicate pastry combined with the perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors create an unforgettable treat. It's clear that a lot of care and expertise go into making this dessert, and it truly stands out as a highlight.

On the other hand, while the Konafa was good, it didn't quite reach the same level of perfection as the Ketmer. It was still enjoyable, but it lacked the wow factor that made the Ketmer so memorable.

This dessert shop on the main town street was a pleasant discovery when we were holidaying in Kaş. Run by a family who know their baking art and sweet preparation, they are very warm and welcoming. We tried the cheesecake with the pomegranate topping which was heavenly. I have a weakness for cheesecakes and having tasted many across stores, I would definitely put this one in the top slot. We tried the traditional Turkish dessert 'Trilece' too and it was superb as well. I wish I could try the other traditional Turkish sweets on offer. The store has cafe informal seating that spills onto the street side if you want to eat there itself otherwise packets is the option. Prices are reasonable. Do try the desserts here...

This place had some of the best cakes I had ever eaten and is practically run by a teenager!! I didn’t get the chance to ask his name but he was the most efficient worker I have ever seen! He took our order, found us a table, served us our dessert, made our coffee and made sure everything was okay, all whilst serving everyone else in the place, serving ice cream and cleaning tables! I’ve never seen anyone work so hard or well before in my life especially at such a young age! His parents are very lucky to have him in the family.
