Mumi Cafe Beach — Restaurant in Kaş

We went here two days in a row and had two completely different experiences. On the first day, the staff were friendly and attentive, but towards the end one of the waiters asked for our Instagrams, which made us uncomfortable. We gave them because we didn’t know how to say no, but we didn’t appreciate being put in that position.

When it came time to pay, our bill was 1,400 TL and there was no charge for the beach beds, so we assumed the rule was that spending over 1,000 TL total covered the beds.

The next day, after not accepting the waiter’s Instagram request, the service changed completely. We were ignored most of the day, and when the bill came, the same order as the day before was suddenly much higher because they added 600 TL bed charges. When we questioned it, they gave an inconsistent explanation that didn’t match what we had been told or charged the first day.

On top of this, some staff spoke quickly at us in Turkish (knowing we couldn’t understand) and laughed about it, which felt very disrespectful.

Overall, unprofessional behavior, inconsistent pricing, and an atmosphere that made us uncomfortable as two young women. Definitely would not recommend. The name of our...

Very average unfortunately. It’s in a good spot with a jumping platform, however service is very poor. The staff is disinterested and it routinely took 5-10mins to flag them down, multiple times I had to go to the bar myself to order a drink. On one occasion I had to go back to the bar to check on the order which hadn’t come, and to no surprise, they’d forgotten about it. The margarita cocktail is a not-so-perfect mix of tequila and water. It’s a flat 300 fee for a lounge which is good, and if you pay 1000 in food and drinks then the lounge is free, however if you’re in a party of 2, you need to pay 2000 to get both lounges free, instead of being able to pay 1000 to get one of the two lounges free. Never communicated that until the bill was paid, and they had the gall to ask for a service fee. If you’re willing to look past all that then...

First they tell you in broken English if you spend a minimum of 700 lira you don’t need to pay an extra fee to use the sunbeds. In the end when we paid they charged us 150 lira extra because suddenly they told us it was ‘700 per person’.. why don’t you just say clearly that we need to spend at least 1400 lira if we’re with two people? Feels like trap to me to be honest.

There were tons of empty sunbeds why would you screw up your reputation for something so stupid?

The food was great, kudos to the chefs. Although I didn’t received a fork, knife or napkins so had to grab it myself.
