We found this place this year, it’s a secret garden in the centre of Kas near the marina. We have been back 4 times. The food is excellent, the service is exceptional and the staff are delightful. The main man who’s name I sadly don’t know, remembers every food and drink on every table without writing it down. It is only at the time of payment that he writes it all down and tots it all up from memory. We have always turned up without booking and it has never been an issue. So far between us we have had pide, soup, prawns, fish, kofte and pasta. Everything has been amazing. The pasta is italian standard good. And if you fancy something that isn’t on the menu, don’t worry to ask- they will make it and you won’t be disappointed. This evening my husband and I had literally the best lamb Shish we have ever had. Mine was more middle-eastern, had yoghurt and aubergine and was 185 TL. My husband isn’t as adventurous and ordered the plain one for 160 which he preferred. The meat just melted in our mouths. I don’t eat meat very often and this was totally Devine. I am so glad we have another week here and...
Read moreThis is an authentic traditional Turkish restaurant with the traditional Turkish cuisine. The atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant is chill and old-school. Truly an authentic experience.
The service was good. It was not excellent, but it was good enough. We were welcomed nicely, some of the staff were really friendly and in a good mood, some were not. But overall, nothing to complain about. We were served some appetisers before our main meal, and they were on the house, which we appreciated greatly.
The highlight of our visit was the food. It was excellent. We tried Adana Kebab and Lahmacun. They were both amazing. Nicely prepared and nicely served. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Adana kebab was served with a fresh salad.
Prices are in line with the rest of the restaurants in Kas. Overall, great restaurant for someone seeking authentic Turkish...
Read moreHad the Iskander Kebap. Excellent plate of seasoned meat, delicious tomato sauce balanced by the yogurt sauce over pillowy pieces of pita bread. The roasted pepper and tomato on the side rounded out this great plate of food. If you are craving a kebap in Kas, Ora Kebap knows how to grill their meats. New: We returned the next day for lunch where I was able to try one of their pides. I went with a simple cheese Pide and it was very good. Good crunch on the crust and thin layer of cheese that was not too soggy. So anyone looking for a good kebab or pide can enjoy it here. Will caution they have limited space in the brick oven so some things are unable to be served at once if the oven is full. Otherwise, enjoy the tea or beverage of your choice as you...
