We went to this place with my friends couple of days ago. One of them ordered pide with potatoes that we planned to share.
Unfortunately, once arrived, turned out there is more bell pepper than potatoes which I’m allergic to. As there was no mention of bell pepper in the description, we asked the waiter if it’d be possible to replace the dish since there was no way of us knowing that there is something apart from potatoes added.
Sadly, the waiter declined our request saying “sorry”, and we still had to pay for it, although we couldn’t eat it.
This shows an extremely poor client service. I could probably understand if this was a way to scam tourists and make them pay more, but my friends were locals that are often in that area.
It’s unacceptable for the restaurant to make their client pay for the food they are allergic to, as well as not stating all the ingredients that are added to the dish.
Neither me nor my friends would come again...
Read moreUnquestionably the best restaurant in Kadıköy, the best lentil soup, chicken wings & the best food in general in Kadıköy🙏🏻👍🏻
We just returned yesterday from İstanbul after two lovely weeks of staying in Kadıköy, and we were lucky we found that restaurant with all its delicious food next to our Airbnb apartment,
before we found it we tried a lot of restaurants in Kadıköy, but this one was the best in almost everything, so we had lunch/ dinner almost every day there, it never disappointed us 👍🏻, and all the staff was nice & helpful, and every-time they offer us a Turkish tea at the end of our meal as an Ikram (free treat). I think they even may remember me when they read this comment as I was just there every day 😄. Thanks a lot my friends and keep the good work going, kolay gelsin...
Read moreHad dinner here with my partner. It was a cold winter evening, we were the only ones there when we arrived, later another couple came. The menu is fairly limited and a couple of the more interesting dishes weren't available. We had lentil soup (fine), then I had shepherd's pie and my partner had the falafel wrap. Both dishes were pretty tasty and well presented, though they didn't have anything special. The shepherd's pie was also fairly small for a main dish. Generally I feel some variety on the menu would be great - why not have a wonderful, warming vegan güveç, for example? No one was smoking while we were there but I'm horrified to hear they allow that in enclosed spaces. Overall - food only just makes it...
