I wish I would give a nice review like others, but I was so disappointed from this store today. My daughter found this place online and came all the way from US to explore the vintage stores in Istanbul. She loved one item and called me over to help her at the checkout. I tried to bargain with my little Turkish when I was ready to pay, but the guy was very rude with me. Took the skirt from my hand that my daughter really wanted and said BYE!! Didn’t even look at us. I wasn’t expecting this attitude at all. I wouldn’t mind paying even extra if he wasn’t this rude. He lost a customer, a business right there. He had no desire to sell something at all. I’m not lying, my daughter left this place crying, so they gave me no choice but leave this review about our experience to let the owner know what he did. Vintage shop is not the type of store that would have clients in line all the time. In fact, we were the only one in this place at that moment. Instead of giving a nice experience to his rare clients, he literally kicked his money out. Although, your style is rare, don’t forget your customers are rare too. Don’t forget you don’t only sell your items, you give a lifetime experience too! Customers come to your store with the purpose, not just a window shop or a begging. Lades Vintage was on my list of must-visits in Istanbul, and I’m so glad I made it there! The shop has a great selection of vintage pieces—well curated and full of character. I picked up a few items along with some really cute hair accessories. The person working there was lovely and made the experience even better. Definitely a gem for vintage lovers...
