Adab-ı Balık Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in Konyaaltı

The staff was friendly and very willing to work with us, even though we speak little to no Turkish. We ordered 2 apps, a portion of sea bass and a dessert and it was more food than the 2 of us could eat. The sea bass and grilled calamari were exceptional and I highly recommend them. Overall it was a very good meal.

A few things to keep in mind/be aware of: Salads are not complimentary, so if the server asks if you want a salad, please know that you will be charged (we learned this the hard way). There may be some translation issues on the menu. It is not the restaurant’s fault at all, but one of the apps I ordered came out completely different than what the menu suggested. I should have confirmed with the staff (who were all friendly). I could have also walked to the front of the restaurant, where all the apps are displayed so you can see what they look like. I am only mentioning this in the review so others know that is something that might come up. There is a cover charge of approximately 250 lira. This place gets really crowded and people do liberally smoke on the patio. I would ask to sit inside if you are sensitive to smells (especially since the ciggeratte smoke will be mixed with the smell of seafood).

I know that sounds like a lot of negatives, but I view it as more things we should have been aware of/asked about before hand. Despite all this, my husband still says this was the best meal we’ve had in Turkey. That should tell you how good...

We recently dined at Adab-ı Balik , and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.The mezze was amazing—fresh and full of flavor. The fish was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Despite the restaurant’s luxurious feel, we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were for such high-quality food. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for great service throughout the evening. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for both adults and families, they even had a playroom for kids. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy great food in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Bu yaz açılan Adab-ı Balık'a gidip gitmeme konusunda çok kararsızdık. Ben genelde Antalya'da uzun süredir bildiğim, tadına güvendiğim yerlere gitmeyi tercih eden biriyim ve sevdiğim mekanlarda düzenli bir rakı meze müşterisiyim. Çünkü esnaf bizi tanıdıkça aldığımız hizmetin de daha iyi olduğunu deneyimledim hep.

Dün çok çok şaşırdım ve çok mutlu olduk. Çünkü bizi hiç tanımayan bir mekanda böyle güzel bir hizmet çok az yerde gördüm. Garsonumuz Serkan Bey çok nazik, çok profesyonel ve güleryüzlüydü. Sürekli dikkati masamızdaydı, eksik gedik ne varsa biz talep dahi etmeden masaya getirilmesini sağladı. Müşteriyi hiç rahatsız etmeden uzaktan masanın ihtiyaçlarını takip etmek gerçek bir profesyonellik. İşletme sahibi Vedat Bey de çok sıcakkanlı ve güleryüzlü bir beyfendi. Birkaç defa masamıza gelerek sohbet etti, memnun kalıp kalmadığımızı sordu. Sanki arkadaşlarımız yeni bir mekan açmış da oraya gitmişiz gibi hissettik! Böyle samimi bir hizmeti genelde ufak ve mahalle aralarında olan, düzenli gittiğimiz mekanlarda deneyimleyebiliyorduk. Yani hizmete 100 puan olsa 100 puan veririm.

Gelelim lezzete. Dün masaya söylediğimiz tüm meze ve arasıcaklara bayıldık! Hibeş ve girit ezme sevdalıları, pişman olmayacaksınız. Ayrıca ismini hatirlamadığım, üstü antepfıstıkli, lezzetli, yoğurtlu bir meze ve levrekten yapılan bir soğuk söyledik (ufak yuvarlak şekillerde sarılmış bir meze) bu mezelerin hepsini tatmalısınız. Salatamız avokado soslu yeşil salataydı. Porsiyon gayet buyuktu ve yeşillikler tazeydi. Ara sıcak olarak; levrek simit, ismini hatırlamadığım ve içinde deniz mahsülü olan çıtır börek tarzında bir ara sıcak ve tereyağlı karides söyledik. 3ünü de sonuna kadar tavsiye ediyorum. Masada bir iki meze daha vardı ancak şuan hatırlayamadım. Müessese elbette en son ikramlarda da bulundu. Ne zaman çay istesek hemen geldi ve çay taptaze idi. Masadan kalkmadan hemen önce kahvemizi de içip oradan mutlu şekilde ayrıldık. Hesap olarak da kesinlikle Antalya, İstanbul gibi büyükşehir standartlarında gayet normal bir hesap ödedik.
