01 Adana Ocakbaşı Kuşadası — Restaurant in Kuşadası

Group’ commonly known as PCG or informally called Pat, Clark and Gary met for the first time last night. We pretend that one of the aims of this group ( besides putting the world to rights) is to check out and recommend good value eateries in town so the venue, which was selected by Gary and seconded by Clark, (Pat attended as note taker ) was 01 Adana. This is located just up past Dent Bar and Special Restaurant. Gary made the second best decision of the night by pre-booking a table as he walked past it on route into town. This was the first time ever, for me in Kusadasi, that I witnessed a patient queue waiting outside in the street for a free table. Now we know choosing one restaurant over another can be influenced by personal taste, recommendations, sight and smell, and of course how many locals appear to be frequenting it. Well this place ticked everyone of those boxes. The service, the value, the quality of food and the atmosphere was excellent. We were supplied with a range of complimentary sides with the instructions that if we needed them refilled it would be no issue For the mains we ordered a mix grill platter to share and some soft drinks. No alcohol is served. Our bill for the three of us was 1,550 Tl ( or about £11 each ). All I can say is look...

First time visit (14/10/25). Decided to have a proper Turkish meal where most customers are the locals and away from tourist areas. The manager was friendly and welcoming and recommended a mixed meat grilled platter which we ordered. He gave loads different dips, sauces and bread which he offered complimentary. The food and atmosphere was nice until he brought the bill. 3000TL!!! about £54!!!. C'mon a mix platter for two people 1 fanta 1 sprite which weren't even original brands just local copies. The bill just had 3000TL hand written no itemised bill. He gave Turkish tea and a piece of baklava allegedly complimentary??? I regret going to this place and being nice tourists didn't complain about the bill. The mix platter wasn't even on the menu when I looked afterwards. Never take things for granted, my mistake. Bad experience I won't let happen again. Always look at menu and prices, anything recommended by manager...
