We ended up eating here after being sold the dream by Mario at the local water park to our hotel. The Hotel we are staying at offers pretty poor evening entertainment, therefore a trip to Planet Yuca in the heart of the Kusadasi bazaar with a return bus service thrown in sounded like a plan to break things up. Upon arrival a warm welcome, menu is good although it’s not local cuisine.. it’s a mixture of popular dishes across british/chinese/italian/indian etc Our waiter was nice enough and food was pretty good, between our family of 4 we had T-bone steak/ fillet steak/ mixed grill / spag bolognaise which the wife and I and kids enjoyed “it wasn’t mind blowing, but nice”
So…The entertainment is basically a dude on a guitar plus a bit of flute. He’s pretty good I guess, once he’s finished theres a belly dancer plus apparently a robot costume entertainer which we missed.
We did enjoy the fact that after dinner you are able to go shopping or just walking In the area and come back to the restaurant a few hours later “ they are very flexible as to when” then they will arrange the pick up and take you back to your hotel.
“Note” if you do want to go shopping in kusadasi then this puts you in the heart of 100’s of shops offering Turkish copies at reasonable prices just make sure you haggle, the price your offered when walking away is usually the best/final price.
In summary Our meal was around £130 once converted which was 4 mains and 4 soft drinks which some may say is a little pricey in Turkey but if you add in the free taxi journeys each way, the fact your well situated in a prime location and service/food and general atmosphere being good, then I think it’s pretty fair to be honest. Are we going to go again before we go home?? Ermmm Yeah maybe…. had our hotel offered more in relation to evening entertainment for adults possibly not but maybe for the fact we might have a little visit to the shops and as already mentioned include a taxi to and fro taken off the final bill £100 ish for 4 is fair I think.

Read moreOne night in Kusadasi with my partner we decided to try this restaurant. I will write an honest review not one word extra or one word less. As everyone mentioned that they claim their card machine is not working which is big lie to their customers to avoid paying taxes. We ordered a glass of wine and it came and tasted like vinegar so we sent it back and ordered a cocktail instead. (End of the night they charged for that wine which we never drank and when I mentioned to the waiter he told me they will take it off his wages if he did not charge for it which is a lie again) Starter ordered nachos and they brought sauces in little pots one sauce which had already been used by another table. So seems they keep using left overs from previous tables, Once mentioned they changed it straight away. Prices well over priced especially for one mixed grill which was cold left half of it one pasta which was nice, bottle of red wine, 3 cocktails, 1 EFES , 2 bottles of water. All these would cost you £50-£60 pound back home but here the price had doubled including the drink you never had!!!! I don’t mind paying the bill for what we have had but not for what we never had. We ended up paying without any issue. There is plenty of nice restaurants in the area that will cost you 1/4 of what this place did and they will not charge you for what you did not have either. Apart from that staff was doing their best to keep you happy Couple who was singing in English were amazing. Belly dancer is good entertainment...
Read moreI didn't want to be disappointed but I am. First the good stuff. The entertainment was good, even if having bumblebee wander round was a little strange. There was a MOS called Jade who was lovely, really attentive and was asking questions, she also asked for feedback at the end when we'd paid the confusing bill, which was nice. I think this place is massively overpriced for the food and service it offers. We went as a party of two, had one course and 3 drinks between us (I had two my companion one) and it cost nearly £90. My companion had beef, which tasted nice, but didn't come with anything else, so rice needed to be added on the bill. I had a curry, which sadly was warm when it arrived (but not hot) so was cold mid way through my meal. It felt like the waiters were more interested in getting as many people into the restaurant as possible rather than focus on those who were already there. We weren't offered any more drinks, even when empty glasses were cleared. We asked for a dessert menu, which never arrived and then a 10% credit card charge fee was added to the bill, even though we were paying cash, so we had to send the bill back to be re calculated. It's strange brcause the food I could have lived with, but it's the service that's put me off returning. I love Turkiye, and especially kusadasi and come often, but it's the people, not the place that keeps me returning and I know I won't...
