Hacivat Shop — Attraction in Kuşadası

Hacivat shop is one of a kind and potentially the best in their field in all of Turkiye. They are a family oriented shop, proper locals of the area and been operating for 55+ years. The shop resembles the scene in ‘Aladdin’, when Aladdin finds the cave of treasures. The staff are extremely talented and very friendly, not to mention they communicate in many different languages to cater visitors from all corners of the world. Do not go without visiting if you’re in Kusadasi, I assure you’ll find whatever you’re looking for. I also love the fact that you can buy any item (no matter what size) and they have the service of internationally delivering it to you without any hiccups. On a recent cruise stop in Kusadasi we happened upon this fabulous shop with so many wonderful ceramic pieces. I kept being drawn to one piece in particular but knew that packing in my suitcase to travel around the world was not a good option. I was informed that they could ship but was still a little leery buying from a foreign country and hoping that my item would arrive intact or at all. I am so glad I took a chance. Absolutely stunning shop. You must visit. Brothers and cousins run the business and create individually hand painted pieces in the workshop. They aren't pushy, not on your back to sell sell. Very nice people who know that their shop is the best.Not one piece is the same as the others. The artists add traditional motifs deciding there and then what pattern they're going to paint.
