We've been pleasantly surprised by our time here at the beach. The beach club is at a place with a rocky beach. It's all small pebbles which are smooth and easy to walk on. It's been really nice to not have to worry about sand everywhere. The beach line appears clear and I don't see a lot of trash around. The water is really nice.
We were attentively served by a young man named Omar. He has hospitality skills beyond his relatively young age. He did a good job of selling us on the features without pressuring us.
The facility itself is clean especially the bathrooms. The lounge chairs were comfortable and there were plenty of umbrellas. I particularly like that they have small accessory umbrellas to shield you from the sun when the Sun is not right overhead and comes in under the side of the umbrella.
The only big negative IPL is the dj. She was skilled I guess but the volume of music is so high and it's difficult to even have a conversation with the person next to you. I've been trying to use voice dictation for part of this review and it keeps being fouled by the volume of the music. I've seen plenty of other complaints about this as well but it appears this is what the management wants. I would probably pay extra to be near the front not because I wanted a better view but just to be further away from the speakers. When we showed up the power had gone out so there was a temporary reprieve from the music but we were already settled when the power resumed and the decibels skyrocketed again.
Overall we were still very...
Read moreWe stopped by Roxy Beach Club and were told it would cost 2,000 TL for a sunbed — with no food, no drinks, nothing included. they said if we came back, they’d drop the price to 1,500 TL. So clearly, the price was completely made up.
It felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of tourists, and it’s disappointing. There are plenty of much better beach clubs along Konyaaltı offering sunbeds for 200–500 TL, with actual service and honesty.
I’m adding this to my previous review since I can’t reply to their response. Honestly, why would I make a review that isn’t true? I wouldn’t waste my time if it wasn’t something that genuinely happened.
When we arrived, one of the staff members asked where my husband is from. He said South Africa, and the staff member pointed out that another staff member—also South African—would assist us. That second staff member is the one who gave us the quote. What’s frustrating is that there was no clear price list or transparency, and it felt like they were trying to take advantage of us as guests who simply wanted to enjoy the beach club.
I made this review not only to share my experience but also in the hope that higher management becomes aware of what’s going on. It was disappointing, and I think some oversight is needed to make sure guests are treated fairly and...
Read moreVery very well located restaurant, has seating extending to the beach itself, atmosphere is breezy and light and beautiful, would definitely recommend going in the daytime to be able to enjoy the views.
The food was good, not the best we’ve had. We orders 3 salads, Mexican salad was okay but lacked flavour, the Caesar salad was very bad, made with mayonnaise instead of the authentic way it’s supposed to. The avocado salad was good and filling.
The beer plate was also good, but more dips could have been given with it.
The yogurt dip was very yummy but a bit bland, would suggest taking the haydari dip instead.
The quesadilla was okay okay, too oily yet the chicken was dry, not appetising, same with the cheese wrap, it only had cheese, no other filling or condiments either.
The dessert was the worst, we ordered tiramisu, it was frozen from the middle and tasted watery. They had removed it from the deep freeze and microwaved it. Very disappointing.
All round would recommend this place for the views and proximity to the beach. And the service of-course was very good. They were kind and also gave us complimentary tea when we remained seated even after...
