Oba Grill Time — Restaurant in Pamukkale

What a lovely meal! We were recommended this place by our hotel and I’m so glad we went here for dinner. We were warmly welcomed as we sat down by the proprietor husband and wife team and quickly served bread, with fresh yogurt and garlic spread which was delicious. I had the kebab Adana which was deliciously spiced and my husband had the Meat Doner Kebab which I tasted and it was truly fantastic. He ordered the Turkish spring rolls for appetizer which is filled with cheese — also very good. To drink I got the pomegranate juice which I learned is a specialty made locally. We were given pomegranate syrup to try w olive oil on the side salads and I recommend both. Outstanding as the meat was, I was also impressed by the sincere friendliness and hospitality of our host. We were served melon and 2 rounds of fruit tea complimentary and they were refreshing and delightful. For dessert we shared a baklava that had. 3 pieces and ice cream and was truly decadent. Chanced upon Oba Grill Time from the recommendation of the owner of the Hotel we stayed in.

“Oba Grill, good food, good price! Come, we go in car, I bring you.”

Next thing we knew we were in the car to Oba Grill and oh boy did he mean every word he said.

Immediately greeted with warm hospitality from this Husband/Wife Restaurant Duo, boy do they know how to run a restaurant business.

If you check out Google Reviews, just right opposite is a very highly rated restaurant. I’ve happened to dine there as well (because I had to check out the highly rave restaurant right?) but I must say the meal at Oba Grill Time was the best meal I had in Pamukkale.

Authentic and Tasty Turkish food at a good price. For all we had, we paid 1,500 TRY. Which i think is a very fair price with great value.
