Today we went to this place I tasted Turk foods before and i swear they’re all delicious. We believed the Ottoman name i do trust turks culture and their taste in food. Here’s my opinion about the food, The doner wasn’t like anything we ate before, it has no taste in it i mean you can go to the nearest supermarket and buy a frozen doner for a better price, the french fries were burnt and like they have been fried for the second time, the rice was bad too and the ayran? eek! I tasted that homemade ayran before and it was never like that! You can just put 6 spoon of yogurt and one cup of water in a bottle and mix it and believe me it will taste better than how this restaurant makes it! And the forks and spoon?? My dog can make it cleaner with his tongue! About the pide! It’s small and It has no meat in it! it was made from just vegetables! tomato and onions nothing else! It felt like they just whispered the word “mince” on it for once! We wanted to eat Lahmacun but he told us it will cost more ingredients and work and it was small but it was 50 liras! He just played with us and made us buy the expensive food but i’m willing to eat dog food other than eating from this restaurant for the second time! for god’s sake i’m mad, i’m really mad and I’m really ashamed of myself for choosing that restaurant because i was with my family and we were really hungry! They’re using the ottoman name for their scam! It has nothing in common with the other restaurants that uses the Ottoman name! My family didn’t liked the food also but we kept quiet for the sake of our trip! And the price?! It’s over priced for those! we had to pay two thousand and five hundred turkish lira for that cold and non tasty food! I regret even going there! Just don’t go there and you can even eat a cold pizza from a...
Read moreAfter a long day of exploring the ancient ruins of Hierapolis in Pamukkale, we were thrilled to stumble upon Osmanlı Restaurant for dinner. The restaurant’s decor immediately caught our attention, with its authentic and vibrant display of traditional carpets creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The food was exceptional, particularly the kebabs, which were rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed a refreshing Ayran, which paired wonderfully with our meal. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the hospitality. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. They even went out of their way to entertain our daughter with music, including a delightful personal song performance, which added a magical touch to the evening.
The combination of delicious food, unique decor, and outstanding service made our visit to Osmanlı Restaurant a memorable one. This hidden gem in Pamukkale is highly recommended for anyone seeking not just a great meal, but a genuine and culturally...
Read moreWe got tricked into paying $100 USD for pizza, a salad, and some raki. We were having a great time, and thought the vibe was cute in spite of everything on the menu being overpriced. We each ordered 1 glass of raki, and when our glasses were near empty, the waiter walked over with a big smile on his face and refilled our glasses. We were like wow how nice of him! Then we got the bill and he charged us 2000 lira for all of the raki! ($62 USD!) We confronted him about it and told him we never asked for the raki, he just came over and poured it in our glasses, to which he replied well you could have refused…. Idk how could we refuse when he never asked!? My glass was in my hand and literally had raki suddenly being poured into it…. Then he pretended his credit card machine was broken and made us go to the atm to take out all this cash to pay him. What a...
