This was the worst meal we had in Turkey so far- and the first time we didn't add tips for the staff. The staff is friendly at the beginning but the moment you place your order (which we obviously did very cautiously because the reviews are providing conflicting information) they loose all interest. It gets worse with time, the waiter was using a little paper towel to take our plates as if he was disgusted with this part of his job. At the end of the meal, he practically took my plate before I could finish the doner.
This place is insanely overpriced, for comparison purpose- most meals are double the price you would pay in the center of Konya in a very good restaurant. It is most definitely a tourist trap and hopefully you'll read this review before you decide to go in. The food is very basic, it's not terrible but it's a gas station quality, not even the fast food quality. I would suggest you skip all of these restaurants and go a bit lower where you'll be able to find better stuff with more adequate price tags. They gave us complementary tea, but considering the soup was 35 lira, and the wrapped doner was 50- I obviously feel like we...

We had sautéed mushrooms, spinach and rice, falafels, aubergine, hummus and to finish, baklava, and it was, aptly, heaven. Try the wine from the region of the Pamukkale mountains, it was delicious. Most importantly, the hosts were charming with lots of fun banter. They even treated us to apple tea on the house. A lovely place, highly...
Read moreVery friendly owners, service was quick with a smile. The view of travertines was amazing and seating was cozy and airy. We had lentil soup & Kunefe, both were delicious. They offered me a complimentary tea which was great as well & I ordered second cup, which I would have paid but they didn’t charge :) We had to stay longer to wait for our bus and they were very fine with that. (Another restaurant we felt that they were kind of rushing us although all the...
