We visited Hiera Coffee & Tea House on Nov 9, after some researching and Google reviews. The restaurant was not too far from where we were staying (
Read moreReaffirming the thousands of glowing reviews before mine, I wanted to share my personal experience—and to be clear, this is a completely unprompted review. Unlike so many other restaurants in Turkey that will ask you to leave a review, this one truly earned it on its own.
Through Google reviews, we stumbled upon this unassuming little restaurant—a true hidden gem.
Its charm wasn’t found in flashy decor or their large portions nor their honest prices, but in something far more valuable: the genuine kindness of its owners.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were wrapped in a warm welcome that made us feel less like customers and more like honored guests. Throughout our meal, the male owner's attention to every detail made our dinner truly unforgettable. With immense pride, he laid our tableware, presented our dishes, and brought out an endless array of sauces and appetizers, pouring his heart into every action. It was clear he wasn't just serving food; he was sharing a piece of himself with each of his guests.
As our evening came to a close, the gentleman and an Asian lady—whom I presume was his wife—walked us to the door. They saw us off with a sincere thanks for patronage and a warm farewell that perfectly capped the experience.
Thank you again, my friends, for your incredible hospitality, the helpful tips you shared, and the thoughtful little souvenir. The memories you helped us create are a beautiful reminder that while traveling, you will always meet good people who create lasting good memories.
With sincere thanks, Your friends...
Read moreReviews are spot on, this is real!! I’m only sorry we did not come our first night so we could just eat here every night. The food was delicious. The main dishes come with a large salad, the hottest freshest moist but perfect on the outside French fries, rice, roaster small red and green pepper and good flat bread. The service is amazing. They are very professional and extremely generous with service, water, tea and tasty nuts and little chocolates. We had one main meal and the green beans. They brought out pickles and a couple of other things and so many condiments/sauces. I have never seen that many!! We had a coffee or latte cake, it was very good. I’m very picky so when I give a good review, believe me it’s was so worth it. We were very lucky to have come. I thought it was very odd that you have to reserve but I say before you get here do yourself a favor and reserve, eat here and don’t go anywhere else. It also has the best prices for the portions and quality of what you get. We did two other places and I can say don’t bother this is by far the best price and best food and service. Look at the photos posted here and that is what you get. Don’t be scared of the prices because it worked out to be less expensive than anywhere else at the end of the day. I have not been impressed with the restaurants in Pamukkale but Hiera was very good. It’s our first stop in Turkey so I am hoping the food vs price and quality gets better. Thank you Hiera for a...
