Crazy Cappadocia Kitchen Restaurant — Restaurant in Uçhisar Beldesi

We wanted to try some local dishes and were very happy we chose this place. This restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Uchisar Castle with a great view. Although our waitress didn't really speak English, she was very nice and helpful, and the service was quick. We tried the Manti and the Pottery Kebab, both were amazingly delicious, and the Pottery Kebab was served as part of a very spectacular show. In addition, the soft cheese, spicy olive oil and pita bread received as an appetizer were also very tasty. Abbiamo scelto di cenare in questo ristorante per via delle ottime recensioni osservate, tuttavia siamo rimasti fortemente delusi. Il servizio è stato abbastanza lento, abbiamo atteso circa 50 minuti per i nostri piatti pur essendo presenti solamente noi (5 persone) e un'altra coppia. Diversi piatti del menù non erano disponibili, pur essendo solamente le 20. Dopo il primo ordine, per chiedere un'ulteriore bottiglia di acqua abbiamo dovuto chiamare il personale dal retro, perché in 20 minuti nessuno era tornato nella sala principale ad accertarsi che tutto andasse bene. Il cibo e il vino purtroppo ci hanno deluso rispetto a ciò che viene descritto nelle altre recensioni. La cosa più grave è avvenuta al termine della cena, quando ci arriva un conto più alto del previsto. Insospettiti abbiamo ricontrollato tutto dal menù che ci era stato consegnato a inizio cena e abbiamo appurato un aumento di circa il 25% sul nostro conto. La spiegazione dello staff è stata che quello consegnatoci era un menù sbagliato, e che il nuovo menù era visibile attraverso un QR-code (che era stato rimosso dal nostro tavolo davanti ai nostri occhi a inizio serata). Dopo una discussione con lo staff e alcune difficoltà visto il loro inglese poco pratico, abbiamo pagato quello che dovevamo in base al menù cartaceo. Abbiamo notato problemi anche da parte dell'altra coppia al pagamento del conto. Che sia una scena ricorrente in questo ristorante? Un vero peccato, ci è sembrato di mangiare in un luogo diverso rispetto a quello descritto...
