Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended

I visited this restaurant last weekend with two companions, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite making a reservation in advance, there was no table prepared for us upon arrival. We were shuffled around aimlessly—“sit here, no sit there”—with no sense of proper organization.

The service was extremely poor. Two of our meals arrived after a 30-minute wait, while the third took another full 30 minutes—by the time it arrived, the others had already finished eating. It was frustrating and completely unprofessional.

To make matters worse, we decided to order a dessert, hoping for a redeeming experience, but that too took another 30 minutes. The staff seemed overwhelmed and poorly managed, giving the impression of chaos rather than hospitality.

This is not a venue suited for formal meetings or high-end dinners. I strongly do not recommend this place for anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable...

I was there for dinner Friday night really looking forward to having some meze but none were available on a Friday evening - disappointing the restaurant wasn’t prepared and the place wasn’t even full.

The Turkish dishes on the menu are all in Turkish with no explanation of what’s in each dish making it extremely difficult when one has dietary restrictions. The waiter could only explain 3 dishes and kept running back to the kitchen asking the chef what the particular dishes came with.

We both ordered kebabs with veggies, pickles and rice. Unfortunately pickles weren’t available, and we got fries instead of rice. It took for ever to have those replaced, the rice came in when we were almost done with the meat and veggies.

The service was rude and unwelcoming.

The waiter kept telling us that the system is broken down and that they couldn’t print a receipt for us and we had to wait for 30 min. We ended up paying without a receipt, hoping the money still goes to...

Beautiful Turkish place in Uganda! Interior is absolutely beautiful and photogenic. As for the food - awesome. Meat was tender…and I highly recommend the Beef pide (basically like a pizza). My only critique is about the service wait times. The staff was super kind, but I had to wait a super long time for my food to come. I will consider this a result of this being a new restaurant and hopefully will improve soon.
