Elevate Lounge — Restaurant in Kampala

After a long day of running errands, my husband and I decided to eat dinner here as we heard good things about the food.

First, the service. We sat down and it took ten minutes to be greeted. I actually had to call the manager over the request the server come see what we wanted to drink and any appetizers. After we ordered the drinks, we quickly ordered the food because it would take 5-7 minutes for him to return to the table.

Second the food. My husband ordered the chicken lollipops which could have been great but they came out cold. He was so hungry, he ate them but was very disappointed. I ordered the pepperoni feast pizza. It was described on the menu as: beef pepperoni, minced beef, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. The first time it came out there was no minced beef and a lot of green peppers, which I cannot eat. I asked our server to take it back and have them make the pizza exactly as described on the menu. The second time the pizza came out it still had no minced beef, no tomato sauce and a lot of onions. I cannot eat chopped onions due to a recent surgery. I was so hungry and disappointed that I cried. The manager came over and asked how she could help. She offered me a piece of cake and asked what I wanted instead of the pizza. I ordered the tenderloin steak medium well with creamy peppercorn sauce. It came out timely, hot and looked great. My only complaint is the meat was chewy. But it was good.

Overall, I would only return for the drinks...

We wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday there but We had a somewhat fair experience. But not a very good one.

Service 4/10 On arrival the staffs were staring at us with no concern of welcoming us(the place was barely occupied so i dont think they were busy for us) until we started asking them questions and recommendations on a quite spot or corner. We sat down and the lady that brought us to our sit just vanished and then it took us about 10 minutes to find someone to wait on us.

Food 4/10 We made our orders, the food came, well served some of my fries were not well cooked on raising the concern, theh took my plate to replace the fries but no fries came back. But fortunately my friends had no complaints about their food.

Atmosphere 5/10 They have a small parking space, the security guards were lovely and welcoming though. They have nice small corners for pictures, bars and cozy spots depending on your mood and vibe which I think was cool.

Overall, I think the welcoming staffs attitude...

I was extremely hungry, so I decided to drop by Elevate Lounge for a meal. The staff welcomed me warmly, and I took a seat. However, I waited for approximately 7 minutes before a waitress attended to me. I ordered a wrap, which arrived after 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the first bite was disappointing - the wrap had no flavor. Despite my hunger, I managed to eat half of it, but the tortilla was unappetizing, and the chicken lacked flavor, and it was stale. To make matters worse, the wrap was served cold.

I brought my concerns to the supervisor's attention, who took the remaining wrap but never returned to provide any feedback. I decided to settle the bill and leave. Overall, I experienced the poorest customer service and the worst wrap I've ever...
