Atmosphere is pretty cool; the music is upbeat and fun. The service is mediocre at best. My partner(Ukrainian/Russian speaking) and I were seated with a food menu and upon asking for a drink menu we were confronted with the odd comment "oh, I didn't think anyone would want it this early". It was 5pm. The Sazerac I ordered was overdiluted, too sweet, and served on the rocks. For food we ordered a salmon carpaccio and an Asian salad which were both delicious. We also ordered an eel and walnut spring roll which made no mention of cheese on the menu but it was stuffed with cream cheese. Unfortunate for someone who is lactose intolerant but didn't take away from the flavor. We had to get up to ask for the bill as our waiter hadn't returned to see us in over 10 minutes. After they brought the bill we needed to get up again to find a staff member to pay. Oddly, but not surprisingly, we were asked to pay for food and drink seperately and had to process two transactions. Far from a pleasing...
Read moreI actually found this place one night while deciding to bar crawl around Kiev. It's located downstairs of a pretty busy street in Kiev. The staff and service here are excellent. They really seem like they like their jobs. The bartenders serve food like well-seasoned waiters. The conversation was actually pretty nice too. Most of the staff spoke English. I had the cheeseburger which was amazing! Their cocktails are great, I was even offered a free shot. Definitely worth giving a visit. I wasn't here on the weekends so I couldn't determine how busy it was. But while I was there on a Wednesday it had a nice vibe to it. They also have cool cozy areas where you can just chill if you want to catch a drink or quick bite to eat. For more interesting reviews and places to visit check out...

Veal medallions spoiled the impressions the most. The dish itself is not the cheapest and, as they write on the Internet, should be soft. Only the last bite out of the big portion was soft, everything else was incredibly tough, like a rubber sole. Considering that this was my first experience with medallions, the impression of the dish was significantly spoiled. It is possible that I was unlucky, since my tablemates did not have such problems, but coming to a bar of such a decent level, I should not count on luck =( But if you exclude medallions, then the bar is very decent, it is worth taking the risk...
