Having visited their other branch the day before, I thought why not try their other one?!
I was not disappointed! Such friendly welcoming staff, and thankfully not such a long wait at this one - not that it's not worth it!
I went for the 'Paç Sorbasi' to start, and it was quite simply everything you'd want from a winter soup; tender melt-in-mouth meat (beef in this case), a chilli condiment to give it an extra kick, along with finely chopped spring onion pieces.
I can't remember the name of the main, but it was lamb with chickpeas - the lamb was nice and tender, but the chickpeas slightly harder than what I was expecting.
For dessert, I went for the Turkish-style coffee with cinnamon, which for the record is the best Turkish coffee I have ever had the pleasure of drinking, along with something called 'Pahlava' which was love at first taste.
I was served by 'Sheikh' who spoke good English and gave me 5 star service.
It's not an exaggeration to say I will probably come back to Kiev just to eat here. It really is that good.

The title says it all and it’s the only thing that I order here, and I order the 2nd plate once the 1st one is served because it takes time to cook them and its their most popular dish and they occasionally do run out of them. So when I hear that I just walk to the next Musafir which there are 3 of them all within’ a close walking proximity of each other.
They put a good spice on their green beans on the side and their tomato salsa dipping sauce isn’t needed since everything is juicy and that sauce tastes gross anyways. This dish was 175 UAH last year and then when I came back to Kiev it was changed to 235 UAH which in terms of percentage was a big price hike. But they still are worth it even at $10 bucks. Their meat salad with cucumbers and kinza is a good starter too. I highly recommend both dishes. Thanks to the Swiss for introducing me to this...
Read moreGreat Tatar restaurant which serves Crimean cuisine. The interior is strange.I was setting near the enter. And almost all seats were taken,so I have to sit in the beginning of the right room. There wasn't comfortable place to stay. But people were enjoying the atmosphere and spending time there.I saw how professionally waiters worked .They had met me and gave me a seat. After that, they helped me to choose a dish.I ordered "manty" and natural Tatar lemonade or drink.I had a card, but very little cash. Thus,I didn't give some tips and got off. When I opened a door,it was heavily raining and I went ahead to my routine.I support Tatar people, but not "Crimean" Russians,so think that this place is symboling and important for them.I'm sorry that I didn't give tips and give one extra...
