Imbyr — Restaurant in Kyiv

Atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing- beautiful blend of Vedic and Bhuddism culture, very cozy and welcoming. The true care and passion to its business is easily to read in design, attention to every single detail. Menu is influenced by healthy vedic cuisine. Honestly, loved vegetarian omelet with avocado toasts. Yummy!

The only one recommendation is to train staff better. Waiters were kind but not confident in their actions and rushed some guests to go. For instance, They rushed to clear my plate when clearly I was still working on it (silver location on my plate was a good indication as well as my look). Question "can i clean" came out when waiter was touching my silver and taking a plate..out.. not after my answer!.. such unreasonable rush "to complete my breakfast" when the restaurant was not even half-full made me feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. Imbir Cafe - my favorite place in the whole Kyiv. This place has its own magic atmosphere - light pastel colors, shelves with books, stairs with patterns on the railing, low sofas and wide armchairs. It's like you are in a library but still you can eat and laugh in it. And about food in Imbir Cafe. Here you can find best hummus in the city with the most crispy and tasty bread rolls. All meals are very nutritious, even though they are vegetarian. If you want start your vegetarian journey and still doubt about it - Imbir will be the best way to start it. Delicious vegetarian food in Kyiv downtown. This is probably not an upscale restaurant, but something pretty close. The food was definitely worthy of going there. Several times actually. In terms of service - may be we were not lucky, but our service was rather slow and and fell like the waiter is working there for the first day. From the price perspective - it is not cheap. Dinner for two was around 1000 UAH. Their deserts are amazing, thought can easily cost 250/pc. I loved the interior as well. You can use this place as a working location - quiet and comfy.
