If judged solely on the coffee, I would give it five stars. Unfortunately, though many of the pastries are good, none are great, and a few are not very good.

Their specialty coffee is prepared in the traditional Turkish fashion, although they do a bit of theater by swirling the coffee urns in a pan full of heated black sand. This coffee house serves a decent imitation coffee on sand. Don’t get me wrong it’s nothing like they do in Egypt but still a pretty good attempt for Ukraine. The regular coffee is of a high standard, cakes and other treats are delicious.

They serve some Carpathian style liquors as well which are also highly recommended.
