Beautiful interiors recreating old charm of the 1920-30's spread throughout a number of rooms. Cute souvenir shop on site, old photos and gentle music from the period, mostly in Polish, so very atmospheric. The orangery or garden hall is gorgeous with abundance of plants and mirrors, and caged canaries chirping. Live piano music during breakfast. The service is good however more smiles would not go amiss - the front of house lady at breakfast was very efficient indeed but just too severe in manner , and some waiters were brusque and again unsmiling. Other staff were much more relaxed and welcoming. Food was excellent at dinner and service good. Breakfast is a remarkable all-inclusive affair (well almost, as some drinks are limited - 1 glass of fizz or vodka is understandable but only 1 cup of tea or coffee seemed a bit strange). There is an omelette station, tea and pastries station, pancakes station, fruits and cream, a buffet table laden with hot and cold foods and cakes. If all the tables for 2 are taken you will be seated at 4's which then will be filled with other guests, although they're given a choice of where to be seated, "with that man on his own or that couple" - that happens in front of you with not a lot of discretion so you can see how you're either accepted or discarded as potential table neighbours. Service efficient with plates cleared unobtrusively and quickly. Breakfast is served from 8-11 but come early or face a 1 hr wait outside - the sitting is limited but to a very generous 1.5 hrs. Overall it's an experience I highly recommend - that wonderful breakfast cost us...

Impressed and highly recommend From the point of entering this place I was impressed with the decor. You walk into the lobby, which is nice but nothing special but then when you proceed to the main dinning area it's like you walk through the cupboard and into the Narnia:) beautiful design and friendly staff, not surprising the place can be busy.

The food was excellent. Didn't have to wait for long to get our orders everything was smooth. The next impressive thing was it's presentation. It was amazing to see how well the food was presented, which you can only get in high end restaurants but the price here does not reflect that, which was another good thing. I was curious if the food was as good as it looked and I wasn't disappointed. Combination of different tastes plays tricks with your mind as you trying to guess what's inside your dish and how it was made. While I tried to find out exactly what's inside, there was always a little secret that they wouldn't reveal.

There were many tourists in there so English speaking staff and many was never a problem. Highly recommend this place. They also have an excellent bar area with very knowledgeable and professional staff if you up...

Probably the best restaurant we dined in during our trip. My wife is from Lviv and agrees with my assessment, meaning it appeals to native and tourist alike. The decor is very nice, though some of our older Ukrainian guests were amused by the decorative distressed furniture and accents. It seems that a touch of decay and disrepair is appealing to tourists —in fact, we saw at least one building that had its facade fully restored and then a portion “artfully” torn down to appear slightly ruined. But back to the food. The dishes are definitely Ukrainian but slightly modernized/internationalized. Not so much as to offend purists, but enough not to challenge foreigners’ palates. Since their menu is online and in English (even if not pefectly translated) I won’t go over all the items we ate. I’ll simply say this: A) Nothing was less than acceptable, and B) The breakfast buffet is very good and an amazing value. My top recommendation for Lviv restaurants, don’t miss!

It depends, we were sitter quite far in the basement, it was cosy but there are many better places to be sitted. Food was good, little overpriced for Ukraine prices. Fish soup was strong, spicy and good. Barszcz was also good but lacking something inside, it was served only with the beans. Beer was OK but nothing special, drink was good. I took the duck brest, it was delicious but a bit too small portion. I don't know, it was around 50gr maybe, a very small piece compared to example baked apples which I got plenty. We took also side dishes which were OK. I think we will come back if we won't find better place. The waiters team was a bit not service oriented. Maybe they are only nice to people which will tip good, I don't know. We usually leave a good tip if we feel we were served good food with good service.
