New Hostel — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

I stayed in Central Square Hostel in early August. I would recommend it and would probably stay there again if I return to Lviv.||||The best thing is the location - absolutely ideal - it is right on Rynok Square at the heart of the old town (which is one of the best in Eastern Europe). The square is quite noisy in the evenings, but I found it had quietened down by late evening so sleep was not a problem. The hostel is incredibly good value for money - approx £4 a night for a very generously sized twin room. The beds were comfortable and there were large lockers in my room. There was a small kitchen and communal area, and a lobby with some maps of Lviv. The staff were quiet, but helpful when we had questions, and arranged a transfer from the airport for us when we arrived.||||There were only two drawbacks to the hostel - there was only one shower room, and only one toilet (although there were only 6-7 guests there when i stayed). The toilet did not have a wash basin in it, and so you had to travel to the shower room or kitchen to wash your hands (a nuisance if someone else was in the shower)! This was only a minor niggle, and given the hostel's size not too much of a problem.||||I'd also recommend that the hostel gets some air conditioning, or provides fans for the rooms. I was in Lviv for 50 days and tried most of hostels in Lviv but this one was my favorite and truly magnificent in all ways, the room was big and beautiful and the beds were comfortable and clean and my favorite part is the balcony where you can just sit there and enjoy the amazing view of Lviv city center with people passing by and musicians playing music every evening right under the balcony, and the common room is the best place to spend time with amazing people from all around the world and of course with the friendliest and best hostel staff in Lviv, especially Angelique, she was always there talking with us when she has time and helping us with anything we needed and she is also a very fun person to spend time with, I spent my last 10 nights in Lviv in this hostel and I will go back and will definitely choose this hostel again, Thank you central square hostel and Angelique if you see this a special thank...
