The atmosphere is inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual meet-ups and quiet contemplation. The service is attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall charm of the place. Everytime that I'm on Lviv I go to this place. Is a museum of gas lamps (this is the thematical of the restaurant). Is very good place, they have menu in English too (something very positive for tourist). The dishes are VERY tasty and generally big portions. (THE WORST) happened the last time that I went (I went at least 5 times and I never had problems), but the last time, were a big group in the highest floor making a lot of noise, standing up, drunk, even playing guitar... AWFUL!!! Their waitress try to calm them, but they didn't .by attention to her. I was with my wife and other couple, they asked (in ukranian) to our waitress to do something, and she told that they called sea security (more than 20 minutes until we decide to go, and they continue in this way)... Is a VERY bad experience... We decided to go faster (as a lot of people who made the same). But I think to come back, because I like this place, maybe not at night to avoid this kind...

I am ambivalent about this restaurant. We ordered two sizzling plates, one chicken and one sausage, and a soup. The portions were generous, the prices were good, and the food was well spiced and flavourful. However, my chicken wasn't very fresh and tasted like it has been reheated. The restaurant itself was charming with its gas lamps decoration, but the lower floors were too dark. We moved up to a higher floor for more sunlight. The music was also too loud at some points, making conversation impossoble. And finally, the restaurant needs to pay more attention to its toilets. The upper floor one was strewn with toilet paper all over and too gross to be used. The one on the lower floor was thankfully nice and clean. Given my mixed experience, I am not sure if I...

Awesome place. Great history and great collection. I like the lamps and their theme. It was a little dark at first but it was quite fun to look at all the lamps. The service was very polite with decent English. There were a few pauses but nothing that would hinder our experience. We ordered fish but apparently it was too mushy so they made another one. (I thought both were delicious) We ordered sizzled chicken but there was no kitchen so they again, prepared another dish to make up for it. We ended up eating a lot more than planned. Everything tasted amazing nonetheless. I especially liked their deep fried lavash with cheese and their chicken wings. All of the sauced were very well balanced, not too milky and not too thick. Just perfect.
