We stayed at the Hotel Natalia 18 between September 14 and 20, 2017. We picked the Hotel Natalia 18 because of its central location to all the old city points of interest. It was 2 blocks from the Opera House and Rynok. Also, The hotel had a 2 room suite available to accommodate 3 guests as our adult daughter wanted to join us for this trip. Our room was No. 2 on the 2nd floor, with a front room that has a sofa which converts to a double bed, and a regular bedroom with a queen size bed for two. The Wi-Fi worked good as the router was right in the room. The suite had 2 flat screen TV's. The washroom was spacious with a large shower stall, but no bath. The breakfast was included and you had a choice of 6 main items. They were 2 eggs with bacon, hot oatmeal cereal.. muesli cereal, buckwheat kasha, crepes with sour cream, or cheese filled crepes. The tastiest item was the cheese filled crepes.Included with every breakfast were tomatoes, cucumbers, rye bread, sausage slices, cheese slices, jam ,yogurt, orange juice and coffee or tea. The tastiest item was the cheese filled crepes. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The maid service was good, but they never left a spare toilet paper roll, and we ran out couple of times and had to call to get more. The location was excellent as it was walking distance to all the points of interest in the old city. The room window faced the interior courtyard. Not much of a view, but quiet. The suite was great value and we would definitely recommend this hotel...
Read moreThis is a very pleasant hotel. I was in an attic room so there was absolutely no view (other than sky) but it was very bright and spacious. Beds were comfortable (as was the sofa). Room was clean with a good bathroom. |Buffet breakfast had wide selection, but as with most hotels in which I have stayed, the bread was not great. Also the coffee was from a machine and was not the best.|Staff were polite and friendly and English spoken for my benefit.|I prefer not to use lifts, but there was none here, which may be a problem for some people. |There is a steady flow of traffic on the road outside but this was not a problem with the window closed. In the attic room, with the window open and rain falling, water ran down onto the carpet. Also there was not a blind on this window so the room was full of light at dawn. (didn't affect me but...
Read moreLocation: Excellent. Short distance to the Rynek, the sights of the old town, the tram stop, restaurants ... still, it was quiet and we slept well.||Room / bathroom: was very well equipped, clean and of sufficient size. It was a bit dark because it was under the roof and only a hatch let in some light. That the hotel is a listed building and therefore has no elevator is understandable and acceptable. But it is not understandable that we as older people got a room on the 5th floor. Fortunately, we were at least helped to transport our bags - through the quite narrow staircase.||Breakfast: in a basement room - was good. However, things were a bit tight here as well.||Parking: free of charge and directly at the house. Very pleasant.||Staff: was very friendly, professional and helpful.||Conclusion: despite minor deficiencies a...
