Dino's Bistro Italiano — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

We Recently dined at Dino’s where we encountered several issues.

It took a whopping 40 minutes for the restaurant manager to seat us at our table. While I understand that busy evenings can lead to some wait times, this was an unusually long delay, and it did affect our overall enjoyment of the meal.

A significant delay in receiving a basic order: a glass of white wine. Despite our guest's request, it took an exasperating 40 minutes for the wine to finally arrive at our table. our waiter completely forgot about our wine order. It's disappointing when such a basic request is overlooked.

The waiter unexpectedly was removing the bread basket without asking any of the guests at our table if we were finished with it. Bread is often enjoyed as a side during a meal and removing it without checking with us felt somewhat rushed and inconsiderate.

The food took an unusually long time to arrive at our table, Additionally, it seemed like the waitstaff was not as attentive as one would hope. I ordered my pasta with extra spicy however, the dish lacked the desired level of spiciness. Order accuracy is a crucial aspect of any dining experience, and it's important for restaurants to fulfill orders according to the customer's preferences.

The waiter didn't inquire whether we preferred to have our dishes brought to the table as they were ready or all together, which cause another delay for some of our guest who wanted to leave early.

The waiter/ Manager did not inform our group about the option of separate checks or having the bill all together, which would have been helpful to know in advance. This led to some confusion during the payment process, we couldn’t avail our separate Rotana Discount/ entertainer and we ended up paying the full amount.

We informed the manager named Farhan about the discount, but it was seemingly ignored. Despite bringing it to the manager's attention, the check arrived at our table without the promised discount applied.

We were celebrating a birthday, and despite repeatedly asking both our waiter and the manager, it took a total of four reminders for them to finally bring the birthday cake to our table. Special occasions like birthdays should be handled with care and attention to detail by the restaurant staff. Timely service of a birthday cake is a fundamental part of such celebrations, and it's disappointing when it doesn't go smoothly.

Our overall experience at the restaurant was incredibly disappointing, and unfortunately, the manager/waiter behavior only added to our frustration. Dining out is not just about the food; it's also about the atmosphere and the way you're treated as a customer. Regrettably, our experience fell short in both aspects.

I hope the Management and the restaurant takes these feedback seriously and works on improving their communication and customer service to prevent such issues from happening...

Been here several times now and the reason we keep coming back is the staff. Particularly Mr Farhan, Bharati, Bimala and Leo. They made our experience every time so comfortable and warm. In fact when they were not working we actually turned away from the restaurant to go somewhere else and came back when they were. They are just kind nice people with warm hearts but great at their job and are a happy team. They are authentic and genuine and this is what I value when it comes to a service and ambience within a restaurant in the uae. We actually live in dubai but come here specifically for this. That said, the food must also be good and it is. Pizza and pastas are made fresh and this also entices us. We have done brunch and Al a carte we have enjoyed both. We have never left hungry or unhappy. I think it's amazing value for money and I would reccomend anybody who loves coffee, pizza, pasta, steak and calamari to go there. Their wine selection could be better. As someone quite familiar with Italian wines and different regions I feel as though this is a downside but that is clutching at straws. We are happy customers and as long as it remains in this manner with the same folks we will continue to return. ...

It's been a while, about 8 months, since we strolled into Dino's. As regulars, we're no strangers to their Friday evening brunch. The cozy Italian vibes and the friendly staff have always made us feel right at home.

The food? Well, let's just say their hand-rolled pasta and Margherita Pizza are pretty darn special. And then there's the sangria... let's just say it's a must-try. A little fruity, a little zesty—it's got that perfect blend that keeps you coming back for more.

What really seals the deal for us is the service. It's like reuniting with old pals, even if we've been away for a bit. The team at Dino's has a way of making you feel like a part of the family, and that's what makes the whole experience shine.

So, even though it's been a minute, Dino's still has our hearts. The ambiance, the flavors, and that sangria—it's all just right. Can't wait for our next visit!
