Hemingway's — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

This is a legit bar where you can have a wide variety of food & drinks in addition to +6 different types of draft beer, a full bar, smoking and non smoking seating areas (no outdoor) and lots to do overall. You can watch the game, shoot some pool, or darts and enjoy a nice ambiance.

They have a kid menu, and even younger kids can sit in the non smoking area.

Their food portions are enormous, and have a menu that you'd want a bar to have. Want a beer? Tacos? Finger foods? Wings? They have it all.

They have a pulled need massive burger, I think they over stuff it with meat, but it was good nevertheless. Their nachos are epic, so are the jalapeño poppers are a must-order.

Lookout for the daily special and combos, they are creative and have different stuff every time I'm there.

I was excited for Oktoberfest, however, the food was just not good! I ordered what I thought was curry wurst - turned out to be 2 bratwursts with a pot of ketchup on the side (no hint of curry at all). How can you mess up a relatively simple German staple? In addition to this, my friend’s order of a pretzel with mustard was just incredibly hard/stale pretzel bread with a jar of mustard. A fresh pretzel and some homemade condiments would have been much nicer, but I feel the whole menu was just poorly thought through. The beer was good, but it’s pretty hard to mess that up. Service was mediocre - no one ever checked in on us, so I had no opportunity to raise my concerns over the food. I asked to use the Entertainer when paying to try and recoup some of the cost, and was told I couldn’t do so on the special Oktoberfest menu. I definitely won’t...
