I am a regular visitor to HookahPlace Abu Dhabi, and every visit is a great experience that keeps me coming back. The interior is stylish yet cozy, with a relaxing atmosphere and soft background music – perfect for social gatherings or simply unwinding after a long day. Not Recommended – Hidden Charges and Customer Exploitation

We visited Hookah Place in Abu Dhabi hoping for a pleasant evening. I must admit that the shisha was really good, maybe even exceptional, but it is definitely not “the best shisha in the world,” as some claim. However, that was not our biggest disappointment.

We ordered a bottle of water, and the waitress asked if we wanted lemon water. Of course, we agreed because it’s a standard option in many places in the world. At no point were we informed that two tiny slices of lemon would cost us… 10 dirhams! Yes, you read that right – 10 dirhams for two slices of lemon. When we saw the bill, we felt completely ripped off. It’s not about the money itself but the lack of transparency regarding this extra charge.

We have no issue paying for additional services, but hidden fees and sneaky charges like this are completely unacceptable. This is just taking advantage of customers, especially tourists, and shows a total lack of respect for guests. We will definitely not be returning, and we do not recommend this...

Upon entering, we were greeted by a rather haughty lady who led us to a mediocre spot, despite the place being empty. We came to smoke shisha. We ordered a Nutella pizza, which was very good, and the nice man who served us made a positive impression. The shisha guy hardly spoke to us and was very terse. We asked for the menu, but he didn't want to show it to us, suggesting we just say what we wanted. We then asked if the recommended tobacco was strong, knowing that there are various strengths, and we wanted a light one. He confirmed that the recommended tobacco would be light. Unfortunately, that was not the case; the shisha was unsmokable, and at a cost equivalent to 60 euros, it was quite outrageous. He also never came back to check if everything was satisfactory, nor were the coals refreshed.
