Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – A Thrill-Seeker’s Paradise!
I recently had the chance to visit Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi with my family, and let me tell you – it was an absolute blast! Whether you're a speed junkie, a Ferrari fan, or just someone looking for a day of high-octane adventure, this park has something for everyone.
That said, one day is just not enough to experience everything. Despite going on a Monday, each ride still had a waiting time of 15–30 minutes, so I found myself rushing between attractions just to try and cover as much as possible.
Here’s a breakdown of my top experiences:
Formula Rossa – The World’s Fastest Roller Coaster This ride is insane when it comes to speed. Launching at 240 km/hr, it’s a beast. The adrenaline rush from the launch is unmatched and leaves you breathless for a moment. However, it slightly disappointed me in terms of track design – there are no upside-down loops or dramatic drops, which could have taken the thrill to another level. Still, the sheer speed makes it an unforgettable experience.
Flying Aces – My Personal Favorite This ride is a must-do, hands down. It’s themed around a WWI flying mission where you’re the pilot sent into enemy territory. The roller coaster twists, turns, and flips you upside down multiple times, and it truly feels like a battle in the sky. Not for the faint of heart – this one shakes your internal organs (in the best way possible)! Out of all the coasters at Ferrari World, Flying Aces was the most intense and exciting.
Turbo Track – Short and Sharp Turbo Track is a quick 10-second vertical launch ride that shoots you straight up to the center of the park’s iconic red roof and then drops you back. It’s short, thrilling, and great for a quick adrenaline fix. While it’s not the most elaborate ride, it definitely delivers a punch.
F1 Simulators – Realistic Racing Fun This was a highlight for me. Be sure to register early and book your time slot, as there's usually a 1–2 hour wait. There are two types of simulators:
The first is a standard sim setup with a large screen where you race others.
The second, and more exciting, is the interactive F1 module. You sit in an actual F1 car shell, get strapped in, and the entire module moves, vibrates, and reacts to your driving. Whether you're turning corners or crashing into a wall, the simulator brings it all to life. This one is a must for racing fans.
Go-Karting – Competitive Family Fun Go-karting here is a fantastic group activity. The track is well-designed and the karts are responsive and fast. If you're visiting with family or friends, don’t miss this – it’s as much fun as it is competitive.
Don’t Skip the Smaller Attractions Ferrari World is full of smaller attractions that are equally enjoyable:
Ferrari-themed cinema experiences
Pit stop challenges like F1 tyre-changing simulators
Family-friendly rides and shows Each of these adds charm to the park and gives you a breather between the intense thrill rides.
Final Verdict: Ferrari World is a dream destination for thrill-seekers and Ferrari enthusiasts alike. The atmosphere, the high-tech rides, and the attention to detail in the theming make it a world-class theme park. Just remember:
Arrive early
Plan your ride priorities
Book the simulator in advance
And most importantly, have fun and don’t rush too much!
I’ll definitely be coming back – and this time, I’m giving myself at least two days to enjoy it all without the pressure...

From the moment you walk in, the place screams premium. The iconic red roof, the sleek Ferrari branding everywhere, and that massive logo at the center of the building—it’s Instagram-worthy even before you step inside. Everything feels larger than life, and that Ferrari luxury vibe hits you immediately.
🎢 The Rides – Not for the Weak!
Let’s talk about the king: Formula Rossa. This is officially the fastest roller coaster in the world, reaching up to 240 km/h in under 5 seconds. I’m not exaggerating when I say this ride will humble even the bravest among us. That moment when it launches—you’re not just riding a roller coaster, you’re being catapulted into another dimension. It’s intense, it’s terrifying, and yes… it’s worth it.
But Formula Rossa isn’t the only highlight. • Flying Aces takes you on the world’s highest roller coaster loop with insane drops and G-forces. • Turbo Track shoots you up vertically through the roof of the building, then sends you crashing down in reverse. • There are also family-friendly rides like Fiorano GT Challenge, Speed of Magic, and Benno’s Great Race—perfect for kids or if you’re not a thrill junkie.
🏎️ Ferrari Experience
Ferrari World isn’t just about rides—it’s a full brand experience. You’ll find real Ferrari cars on display, simulators that put you in the driver’s seat of an F1 car, and even interactive zones where you learn about Ferrari’s history, engineering, and racing legacy. There’s even a mini Ferrari driving school for kids.
🍕 Food & Facilities
The food options were surprisingly good for a theme park. Whether you want Italian, fast food, or coffee and snacks, there’s plenty of choice. The park is super clean, well air-conditioned (thankfully!), and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside? Prices are on the higher side—but for a premium experience, it’s expected.
🎟️ Ticket & Time Tips • Try to go on a weekday if possible—weekends get very crowded. • Book tickets online to save time and money. • Plan to spend at least 5–6 hours to enjoy everything without rushing. • If you want to ride Formula Rossa more than once, consider a fast pass.
