My family has been a regular customer at a Texas roadhouse restaurant for over 5 years.. But yesterday, on beautiful Friday, the start of the weekend,
Stephen ruined our day!
We ordered steaks as usual, but the chef put way too much salt on all the steaks, so they were very salty. we explained to Stephen about the salty steaks, and he said that it was just the taste of regular steaks, and we said that we're regular customers here, but it was never this salty. when we asked him to re-cook the steaks, Stephen's attitude, way of speaking, was very RUDE.
When we received the steaks again, they were rare, not medium well-done, which we had ordered. We asked the male manager to not put salt on the steaks and serve them separately, but that was not communicated to the kitchen, so this was not followed. We were getting tired of repeated kitchen mistakes, but we didn't want to ruin our family's weekends anymore, so we didn't take issue with the kitchen mistakes that fell short of our request at the time of order.
We asked the male manager, who knew all this, that we wanted to get Steven's apology. But Stephen came in front of us and just stood there without saying anything, so we asked him, "Do you have anything to say?"
and Stephen's response was
"ABOUT?"
What kind of education did the male manager give Stephen before sending him back to the customers' table?
As a 5-year regular customer and with sincere love for Texas Roadhouse,
Stephen is not a person who fits the values and future of Texas Roadhouse!!
This restaurant desperately needs to retrain its staff in customer service and improve the skills of its chefs in grilling steaks.
If you think about it, isn't the future of the restaurant industry without these two things foreseeable? Not only us, but we know that there has been a flood of complaints from customers about the steaks at Texas Roadhouse recently.
If the entire restaurant management doesn't take emergency measures, more customers will turn away.
We ask you to take seriously the sincere advice of your...

Read more“Food is amazing but service is poor. “ exacr word I shared to Manager Amir
We felt that the place wasn’t for us, compare to the Galleria Branch (Where Manager Manny was there - not too mention that he was also at the Yas Branch/ but different area)
This branch seems like they only care for the tourist - or maybe other nationality, based on my observation they were to focused to them (giving them the benefit of the doubt, because it is busy? lack of manpower etc)
Insisting to be seated at the outside, instead of asking options but still I asked to be seated inside Had a 2 menu where 1 is Chinese/Russian, and 1 is english. (without checking where I spoke in english) I asked a server to remove couple of plates since we are done from those dishes (She asked someone to do it when that pooja wasn’t even acknowledged it) So in the end, after 5 to 10 mins - to have a better space to our table, my husband needs initiate to remove it from our table. (we saw that it was a bit busy night but its not nice when the server I asked earlier saw 3 times that the plates are still at table and obviously we are waiting for someone to do it) Manager Amir, went to us and asked if the food is okay - so we said it great but the service is poor. (He didn’t ask why- he just apologies but offer it we need something - very poor of handling it)
Supposedly, and usually they asked what happened. No need to apologies but at least know why the customers had a bad experience already.
We didn’t asked for extra, and or any compensation or whatsoever. It’s just sad since we love the food. I hope this review will take action towards to the employees. It’s business after all, I know and we know. what matter the most is the...
