An Unforgettable Culinary Experience,
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Kim Restaurant Yas Mall, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This establishment truly stands out for its impeccable service, authentic flavors, and warm ambiance.
Ambiance: The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends modern elegance with a touch of traditional Korean decor. The seating is comfortable, the lighting is warm and cozy, and the attention to detail in the decor adds a unique charm.
Service: The staff at Mr. Kim Restaurant are outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. From the moment we were seated, we were made to feel welcomed and valued. The servers took the time to explain the menu, recommend dishes based on our preferences, and ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.
Cuisine: The food is the star of the show at Mr. Kim Restaurant. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing authentic Korean flavors while maintaining a fresh and modern touch. The highlight for me was the Korean BBQ—the quality of the meat and the marinade was exceptional.
Presentation: Every dish was beautifully presented, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to excellence. The vibrant colors, artistic plating, and attention to detail elevated the dining experience to a whole new level.
Cleanliness: Hygiene is clearly a priority here. The restaurant was spotless, from the dining area to the restrooms. It’s always reassuring to see a restaurant maintain such high standards.
Value for Money: For the quality of the food, service, and overall experience, the prices are more than fair. It’s rare to find a place that offers such excellent value without compromising on quality.
Conclusion: Mr. Kim Restaurant is a gem that I cannot recommend highly enough. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner, a celebration with friends, or an introduction to authentic Korean cuisine, this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning soon to try...

What a find this was! My friend suggested we try this new spot that opened in Yas Mall & we absolutely loved it 🤩
We went for the ‘Mr Kim’s Omakase’ between the three of us which is AED 399 and then we added another cut of brisket. With our Omakase we got; Ban Chan, the choice of an appetiser, some soup, an array of meats, a choice of rice or stew and a dessert of choice. I would definitely recommend this package, literally everything was delicious 😍
Corn Cheese: For our appetiser we chose the Corn Cheese (Picture 5) which wasn’t what I expected, but I can safely say it exceeded expectations. I mean what’s not to love about corn filled with cheesy goodness and crisps 😄
Miso Soup: The Miso Soup wasn’t like any other that I’ve had before and I would more describe it as a beef stew than a miso soup. It was delicious none the less 😋
BBQ: All of the meats were SOOOO good and I loved that the waiter asked if we’d like to bbq it ourselves or if he could do it for us. We opted for him to do it, so we knew it was all done to perfection & I can confirm that it was perfection 😍 All of the meats were delicious in their own way & we had the salts on the side to add enough for our own personal taste. Simply the best 🤩
Kimchi Fried Rice: You can’t really go wrong with Kimchi Fried Rice (Picture 6), our waiter kindly split the rice into three bowls for us & it was very tasty along with all the meats 😁
Matcha Cheesecake: To finish us off, we ordered a Matcha Cheesecake and other than the fact it took a while to arrive at our table, it was yummy! Not too heavy and the ice cream it came with was almost a salty sweet cream which married perfectly 🥰
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be...
Read moreI visited the restaurant last week for my birthday dinner, enticed by its claim to be the "very first licensed restaurant in Yas Mall." Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
Upon arrival, I was intrigued by the promise of a licensed restaurant, but my enthusiasm waned when the server didn't provide a drinks menu. Disappointingly, only water and soft drinks were available.
The service further faltered when our orders took an unusually long time to be taken. I opted for Yukhwae and Kimchijigae, accompanied by Deungsim. The Banchan, particularly the Kimchi, lacked the desired flavors – the Kimchi was overly sour, and the other items lacked taste.
The Yukhwae, advertised to include "Angus Cuberoll, Asian pear, sesame, Quail Egg," was served with a regular egg instead of the promised quail egg. Moving on to the Kimchijigae, it was notably bland, lacking salt and flavor, making it the least enjoyable Kimchijigae I've ever had. Even Kimbapcheonguk's version surpasses it in taste.
Disheartened by the overall lack of flavor in the Kimchi (both Banchan and Jigae), I decided to cancel the Deungsim. However, the server initially insisted it was prepared and brought it to the table, claiming the chef had already made it. When I clarified that it required no cooking, merely cutting, they finally acquiesced and canceled the order.
Regrettably, my experience was characterized by overpricing and a distinct lack of taste. The only redeeming quality was the atmosphere, managed by Mr. Kim.
In summary, the restaurant failed to live up to its promises, offering overpriced dishes with...
