I had a fantastic dining experience at Horizon Restaurant, located in Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was welcoming, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing meal by the poolside. The setting, with palm trees, red umbrellas, and a clear view of the beach, added to the overall charm and made for a picturesque dining environment.

The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from Pan-Asian specialties to international favorites. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dessert selection was particularly impressive — colorful, creative, and absolutely delicious. The pastry chef clearly puts great care into crafting not just desserts, but edible art.

What truly elevated our visit was the outstanding service. Staff members like Shamim, Gabriela, and Chef Mohammed were exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional. Shamim was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient, while Gabriela made sure we were always comfortable and smiling. Chef Mohammed interacted with guests with genuine friendliness, which added a personal touch to the experience. Even the manager personally checked in with us to ensure everything was perfect — and it was.

I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel. This is an exceptional hotel and the atmosphere is so welcoming. My mum was also very poorly and all the staff have done all they can to help . They have a dr you can call out..which we did and hotel arranged this. The lovley staff also sent up food for mum and also sent a lovley player of food. The restaurant is also extremely good and so much variety. We have a vegan diet and we had so much choice without even asking and even then they said the chef could make anything we wanted if we could not find what we wanted. Shahleh was exceptional with his genuine care and help and very friendly . He offered advice on how to get mum better .
