A huge shout out to Gloria and Ayu who not only made us feel welcome but also so comfortable and at home. They made perfect recommendations and had such good product knowledge. They were able to give a detailed explanation of dishes we enquired about. Gloria took down our orders so accurately and was so kind enough to Address our special requests and customizations. We ordered 1 flamed prawns for starter. Highly recommend. Very flavorfully seasoned on a skewer. We also orders a side of broccolini which paired so well with our main dish. For the main dish and the star of the show, we ordered a dish called “feast for 2” - this was the main highlight and we totally recommend it. Succulent juicy meat such as lamb cutlets, 300g of steak, chicken on skewers with a side of salad and fries. Above all that , did we tell you that how tasty and appetizing the bread basket was - the butter elevated the whole experience. We also enjoyed celebrating a birthday here in such a beautiful atmosphere. The staff members were the kindest and truly made our day so so special and memorable filled with cheer and a surprise. We will definitely be back. Gloria and Ayu also shared with us the business lunch menu which is a bargain! We will be back next time at lunch to seize the deal! Thank you to Hilton the floor manager who is also an absolute star for making our visit so pleasant and memorable. All staff members had such great personalities and hospitality. We recently dined at Hunter & Barrel in Yas Bay, and it was truly one of the most impressive dining experiences we’ve had in Abu Dhabi. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mary Ann at the reception, who made us feel instantly at home. The ambiance was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, with cozy lighting and a stunning view of the waterfront.

Our server, Mercy, was excellent — attentive, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations really elevated our meal, and her service throughout the evening was impeccable.

We started with the butterflied prawns and crab cake bites, both of which were absolutely delicious. The prawns were juicy and full of flavor, while the crab cakes were crisp on the outside, rich and well-seasoned on the inside — a perfect combination to kick off the meal.

For our main course, we chose the wagyu rump steak and the Wagyu tomahawk. Both steaks were cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with that signature smoky flavor. The potato wedges and coal-roasted corn were the perfect sides to complement the mains.

We also enjoyed a few cocktails, which were not only refreshing and well-balanced but also beautifully presented — a true reflection of the attention to detail that carries through every part of the dining experience.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Hunter & Barrel, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the most exceptional dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm and attentive service of Mr. Pride, the restaurant's maître d'.

Mr. Pride's impeccable attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. He welcomed me with a genuine smile, helped me find the perfect table, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my meal. His extensive knowledge of the menu was truly impressive, and he made excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented my meal.

The food at Hunter & Barrel was simply outstanding. I started with the complimentary bread and the grilled prawns, which I highly recommend. For the main course, I opted for the dry-aged Angus tomahawk, which was cooked to perfection and served with a crispy fries and green salad.
