I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Staybridge Suites Hotel in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with friends and family, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service at this hotel is truly outstanding, and I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness and professionalism of Mr. Waqas, a waiter who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and efficient check-in procedures. The staff at Staybridge Suites clearly prioritize guest satisfaction, and it shows in every aspect of their service. Mr. Waqas, in particular, stood out for his exceptional care and attention to detail. He made sure that all our needs were met and provided excellent recommendations for dining and activities in the area. His friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay even more memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was the buffet breakfast. The quality of the food was top-notch, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and made-to-order omelets, the breakfast spread was both delicious and satisfying. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly.
Another fantastic feature of the Staybridge Suites is the social event held from Monday to Thursday, from 6 pm to 8 pm. During this time, guests can enjoy a complimentary buffet and two alcoholic drinks per adult. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to relax and socialize with other guests while enjoying a variety of tasty dishes and beverages. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and it was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring Yas Island.
The rooms at Staybridge Suites are another aspect worth mentioning. They are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room spotless throughout our stay. The modern decor and thoughtful touches, such as a fully equipped kitchenette and a cozy seating area, made the room feel like a home away from home.
In addition to the excellent service, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations, the hotel's location on Yas Island is ideal for both leisure and business travelers. It is conveniently situated near popular attractions such as Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, and Yas Mall, making it easy to explore the best that Abu Dhabi has to offer.
Moreover, the hotel boasts a nice swimming pool where guests can relax and enjoy the sun. For those looking for more options, there is also the possibility to use the pool at the neighboring Crown Plaza hotel, adding an extra layer of convenience and luxury to the stay.
The hotel is also very family-friendly, making it a great choice for those traveling with children. The staff were always accommodating and made sure that our little ones were well taken care of. Additionally, the hotel offers free valet parking, which was a fantastic convenience for us.
Overall, my stay at the Staybridge Suites Hotel in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, was nothing short of fantastic. The exceptional service, particularly from Mr. Waqas, the high-quality buffet breakfast, the enjoyable social events, the spacious, clean rooms, the excellent pool facilities, and the family-friendly environment all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi and look forward to returning...
Read moreI recently stayed at Staybridge Suites and found the rooms to be incredibly spacious — ideal for long-term stays. The apartment-style setup, complete with a fully equipped modern kitchen and a large balcony, made it feel comfortable and homey, especially traveling with my dog, Zen, who loved having space to play and relax.
One of the biggest highlights for me was how pet-friendly the property is. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that welcome pets, and Zen truly had a great time here.
The staff is friendly and helpful, though at times I did find myself needing to follow up a few times before certain requests were addressed. To their credit, the team was responsive and willing to make things right when issues arose.
The first night was a bit challenging — I was initially given a room facing the city and the concert arena. Unfortunately, with a loud event happening next door and a strong perfume scent in the room, I had trouble sleeping. However, the team handled the situation well, and by the next morning, they moved me to a pool-view room, which was a much better fit. While daytime noise from children playing at the pool was noticeable, the evenings were peaceful, and I was able to rest well.
I also want to highlight the kindness of the night security guard, who truly went above and beyond. I was initially bringing Zen to the designated pet area (as I had been advised during my previous stay at the neighboring Crowne Plaza), but he kindly approached me and showed me a much more beautiful walkway where I could take Zen for a proper walk. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but I’m genuinely grateful for his helpfulness and warm attitude — it made me feel very cared for as a guest.
One area I felt could be improved is the room service menu, which offered limited healthy options. I ended up ordering from Talabat, though the hotel wasn’t able to bring the delivery up to my room, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the internet connection was sometimes spotty, which might be something to consider if working remotely.
That said, the combination of spacious accommodations, pet-friendly policy, and kind staff — especially the thoughtful night security — makes Staybridge Suites a solid option for those looking for a long-term stay in Abu Dhabi. With a few improvements, this could easily become a top choice for...

I stayed at Staybridge Suites Abu Dhabi - Yas Island by IHG for 4 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected.
The room wasn’t clean – there was visible dust everywhere, and the initial cleaning felt rushed and superficial. Throughout the stay, housekeeping remained mediocre. On the second day, they didn’t even change the towels. I pay close attention to small details, and I was surprised to receive just a tiny packet of toothpaste on the first day — and nothing more for the rest of the stay. It’s disappointing that in a hotel of this category, you have to worry about bringing your own basic toiletries.
The worst part, however, was the valet service. I used it once, and the valet actually hit another person while driving my car. It was a shocking and unacceptable experience — something I’ve never seen before. To make matters worse, when I was checking out, I noticed a scratch on my vehicle. I’m confident it wasn’t there before my stay. I reported it, but the Security Team claimed they found nothing. Frankly, I don’t trust their investigation, and I strongly believe the damage occurred while my car was in their hands.
To be fair, the private beach was a nice feature and left a good impression — one of the few positives during my visit.
That said, the overall experience was stressful and disappointing. I stayed for 4 nights, and I can confidently say I won’t...
