Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting a cozy little restaurant that had been on my list for quite some time. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma coming from the kitchen set the tone for what turned out to be a wonderful dining experience.
I decided to try their shakshuka, a dish I had heard a lot about but never experienced in such an authentic setting. When it arrived, the presentation immediately caught my attention — a sizzling skillet of perfectly poached eggs nestled in a rich, aromatic tomato and bell pepper sauce, garnished with fresh herbs. The vibrant colors alone were enough to make my mouth water.
The first bite confirmed my expectations and then went beyond them. The sauce was beautifully balanced — tangy from the tomatoes, slightly sweet from the peppers, and infused with just the right blend of spices. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with velvety yolks that mixed harmoniously with the sauce. Paired with warm, fluffy bread, every bite felt comforting yet exciting, a combination that made it impossible to stop eating until the skillet was completely clean.
What truly elevated the entire experience, however, was the staff. From the friendly welcome at the entrance to the attentive service throughout the meal, the team exuded humility and genuine care for their guests. They checked in just the right amount — ensuring I was comfortable without being intrusive. Small gestures, like offering extra bread without having to ask, made the visit feel personal and memorable.
In a city full of dining options, this restaurant stood out for its heartfelt hospitality and outstanding food quality. The shakshuka was easily one of the best I’ve had, and the humble, kind service made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be returning soon to explore more...

Read moreI usually get my takeout from these guys. Always clean and fresh. If you happen to be living in JVC and you're looking for a quick snack or vegetarian option with a very affordable price, then this place is for you. Hummus is great, flafels are wonderful, and they also have mixed veggies, sandwiches, and chicken liver too. Their drinks are worth trying, no Coke, or Sprite, no Pepsi.. some other brands. Although there are few seats, they're usually full around busy times. Pickup or delivery is a better option. The staff are friendly. Good job! They have amazing offers now and then.. a flafel sandwich plus drink...
