My wife had called to book a table 6 days in advance as she wanted to surprise me for my birthday with my mom. We reach there and were going to be seated right Infront of the kitchen door to the very side of the restaurant. We did not accept until we were seated in a decent spot. Food selection was good, it was delicious except for the tabluleh & fatoosh that were INCREDIBLY salty. Once we were done, it was time for drinks. We asked them for one of their specialty tea's "white peach green" which the waiter had no idea about while checking his tablet to place the order until he stumbled upon it & still they brought chamomile instead "yet still showed white peach green on the bill" As it was bitter, we ask for brown sugar as the tea came with two white sugar sachets just placed carelessly ontop of the tea tray & my mother prefers brown sugar. They come back with stevia saying there's no brown sugar but to my surprise just to my left literally within arm's reach of me , another table with just coffee orderes , has a neatly placed sugar selection with brown sugar inside. Last but not least, my wife had told them on the phone it's my birthday & to see what they can do. What they did was a small 58 seconds of the Syrian show called "a'arada" with my name on the screen for 5 mins & a piece of chocolate cake. When the bill comes the food itself was around 500 & that little show was charged at an additional 500 "cake not included, that was another 49 DHS" besides the food & the cake if you're going to charge such a rediculus amount it should be discussed prior at least as the only thing that was mentioned was 150 DHS minimum charge per person during the suhoor. Last but not least , the mess of a valet, where I drop your car one place , get told to pick it up from another place RIGHT NEXT to the garbage bins with a horrible smell. Yeah it was an experience but...

I recently visited Amanos Restaurant in Dubai Jumeirah for breakfast, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance immediately transported me to Turkey, with its warm, inviting decor and attention to detail.
I ordered the Turkish breakfast, and it was a feast for the senses! The platter was beautifully presented, featuring a variety of fresh and flavorful items: creamy cheeses, tangy olives, honeycomb, jam, and perfectly baked bread. The scrambled eggs with sucuk (Turkish sausage) were perfectly seasoned, adding a hearty touch to the meal.
The service was impeccable—the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was just right. I also loved sipping on Turkish tea, which was served in traditional glass cups, enhancing the authenticity of the experience.
Overall, Amanos offers a true taste of Turkey with excellent food and a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a unique and satisfying breakfast in Dubai. A hidden gem...
