Disappointing Food Delivery Experience

Dear Behrouz Restaurant Team,

I wanted to share my recent experience with your food delivery service under order CRN #55930723063952, as I believe it's important for you to know.

I ordered a few dishes from your menu, eager to enjoy the flavors of Behrouz. However, the delivery was quite disappointing. While I was promised in the phone call that the food would be delivered in 50 min., the food arrived (1415LT) later than the estimated delivery time, which was frustrating. I was also given to understand by a staff named Rajveer that they were waiting for the freelance driver to report in order to deliver the food. Ultimately, NOON rider delivered.

Surprisingly, when I asked about the restaurant’s refund policy, I was told there is no refund policy for online payments. How come ?

I ordered the Gosht aur Murgh Biryani, there was a choice to have it spicy or none-spicy which is an excellent choice, i chose the spicy one. The time took from placing the order till the delivery at the door step was excellent, it did not took more than 40 minutes. The packaging was good, no damages and no spilled food whether in the carrying bag or inside the food box. The taste of the food is superb, tasty, yummy although it was a bit of spicy for me but i loved it. The rice is cooked well and the right portion for one person. The meat is delicious and melts in the mouth. The Raita & Gulab Jamun were also excellent and taste so good. i mixed the onion with the rice, it gave it a unique taste and added a level to its spiciness. Worst experience, i had my my guest and ordered food at 12 pm, i was trying to reach them out from that time nobody answered my call. Later after 2 hours around 2 pm I received call from them asking me to replace the item since they don’t have the item from their menu. As i was waiting for the food with my guest i agreed with them to give the available food, from then after 45 minutes I received a call from the restaurant telling their delivery is not available at my location (even though my order worth is more than AED 500).

Finally i had to cancel my order and from and to bring food from other near by restaurant and had my lunch at 4 PM.
