If I could give this place no stars, I would. Staying at this hotel was definitely the worst hotel experience I have ever had. They started by giving us a smoking room and told us a non-smoking room wouldn't be available until the next day. The next night we moved to the non smoking room and as soon as the concierge opened the door, I could see long hairs on the floor, telling me that this room was not cleaned properly. The safety deposit box was locked, so we couldn't use it for three days. We weren't given a room key until the next night. To make matters worse, the first night in the second room, close to midnight, one of the staff tried to enter our room. We had the "Do not disturb" sign on our room, yet this employee continued to try to enter the room, wiggling the door handle and then knocking aggressively. Luckily I had the dead bolt on the door so he couldn't get in. I woke up from the noise and asked who it was but received no reply. I looked through the peephole and saw no one. I opened the door and leaned forward to see a member of staff with a hotel guest and I asked, "Did you just try to enter my room?" It was clear to me that he had made a mistake and didn't realize that were staying in the room, but instead of owning up to his mistake and apologizing, he asked me if I had a complaint. He claimed I had called with a complaint. I was so confused and still half asleep and said I didn't have any complaints. As he walked away, I stood at the doorway confused as to what just happened. Was he really trying to say that if I had a complaint he would just enter our room. From that night, I felt unsafe in the hotel. When I made a complaint the next morning, the staff didn't seem to care or do anything to make us feel better. Two or three days later, after being out a whole day, I came back to our room to find that someone had broken my perfume. Again, I went to complain and the staff didn't seem to care. I asked to speak to the manager and he suggested that I put my personal items in the safety deposit box! Lol, I've never heard of a hotel suggesting that I put all of my things in a tiny safety deposit box, not forgetting that ours was locked. I never got an apology or compensation. In addition, the bed sheets were probably changed once. I know this because there was a stain on one of the sheets and it remained there for a few days. The bed was noisy and squeaked every time I turned over in my sleep. They have a club in the hotel that was really loud and noisy some nights. I will never stay there again. There was nothing mentioned regards to parking fee so once I reached to hotel asked regards to parking bell desk guy told me you have too pay to get the parking, I paid 60 dirham for each night. Once I approached front desk there was 3 staff standing and talking you need to interrupt them as they will really ignore you. So check in and everything was done I went to the room, room was clean lower floor was given even I request higher floor its fine. While waiting for my wife to arrive I decided to organized the surprise and requested for 2 wine glass, room service guys was so rude and said no while passing by front desk seems like he was night manager I asked is it not really possible to have glass of wine in the room guys said no its everywhere you should know. I told me I am also hotelier and I know how is it work so he replied very rudely I have 13 year experience and work with different brand its like this I just asked his name he said Hussain. I told him Hussain please go and check my profile on LinkedIn if you talk about brands of hospitality. There was no efforts was made. Very disappointing. ||Breakfast was included so we went on first day and it was offered ALC menu, guy was alone and straight to some people what you want there was only 3 plates options. We went for Indian breakfast which was nothing much like: egg,protha,chana and some fruits.||Personally we don't like the taste so second day we decided to buy something form outside and request re heat so I went down and asked the guy if he can re heat he was polite and mentioned it will take time even its about re heating in microwave for 2mnt I accepted and leave food with him, after 1hrs I tried ti follow up through room service, order taker was like he don't care you should know he is busy and "YOU KNOW" so I asked him is he not part of your team ?? can I come down and collect he was like it will come don't worry !!! Read moreI was scammed by a hotel booking. I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel, which I feel compelled to share. I made bookings first one under my wife’s name on Agoda, but it didn’t include the breakfast. So we made another booking under my own name which included breakfast and cancelled the first reservation. We decided to checked in for the second reservation under my name, unaware that the first booking was still active under my wife’s name. The hotel never notified us of this and when we arrived, we were not informed about the two bookings with identical details.(Not even In our 6 days stay). To make matters worse, the hotel marked the first booking as a “no-show” despite the fact that we were both at the property, and they proceeded to charge us for both bookings. We were effectively charged twice on credit card— once for my wife’s booking and once for mine. When we and Agoda’s team reached out to the hotel, they insisted the charge was in accordance with their "no-show" policy and refused to refund the money, even though we were both present at the hotel. The hotel’s behavior is completely unethical, and their lack of transparency is frustrating.
Additionally, the hotel itself is not very well-kept, with questionable activities around the property, including ladies dance bar and clubs on the ground floor (which are not listed on thier website) and questionable spas on the upper floors.
Finally, the hotel is listed on Agoda, but the information provided about the booking and their policies was misleading. I feel scammed for the amount of over 36 thousand ruppes, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, they did not provide a refund or even an additional key for our second booking, during the stay.
I strongly advise to avoid this hotel for families and couples. due to their poor customer service, lack of transparency, and the overall unprofessionalism exhibited throughout...
