Extremely Disappointed – A Letdown from a Regular Customer

As someone who has been a regular patron of Caféina at Terminal 1 Arrivals, I feel compelled to express my deep disappointment with the consistently poor service I’ve experienced recently.

The customer service has reached an unacceptably low standard. Staff members, on multiple occasions, have either completely ignored my order or taken it without any intention of fulfilling it correctly. It’s disheartening to witness such a lack of attention and basic courtesy. Even when food is eventually served, the quality leaves much to be desired – poorly prepared and lacking any real flavor. The only redeeming item seems to be their milkshake, which consistently meets expectations.

While I must acknowledge that one or two male Indian staff members have shown professionalism and a willingness to assist, the majority of the team displays a shockingly dismissive and apathetic attitude. It’s unclear whether this stems from a lack of training or a disregard for customer satisfaction, but it’s completely unacceptable.

Caféina has the potential to serve as a reliable option for travelers and frequent visitors like myself, but until the management addresses these persistent service failures and re-trains the staff on basic hospitality standards, I cannot in good faith recommend this...

I must say, it has been an exceptional experience.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, displaying excellent communication skills and ensuring that every interaction is warm and professional. They are highly accurate with orders, which adds to the seamless dining experience.

A special mention goes to Shafi, whose creativity truly stands out. Shafi consistently goes above and beyond to provide personalized service, crafting unique croissants with special ingredients just for me—even though it isn’t part of the menu. This level of dedication and innovation is truly commendable and makes every visit memorable.

The cafeteria is situated in a prime location, yet it remains surprisingly cost-friendly, offering great value for money without compromising on quality or service.

When u ask for Coffee , these guys make the coffee using evaporated milk (Rainbow milk) and then they rudely say this is how we make coffee normally , if you want coffee with Fresh milk u need to mention it while ordering. FYI to the management of this cafe - Karak chai is made using evaporated milk and not coffee, also if that's how you make coffee by default then ask the customer whether u need it in Fresh milk or...
