Disorganised staff. having asked for the sofa bed to be made up for our daughter we got to the room and it wasn’t. Even if we arrive early -of which more later - it could have hclicked that 3 people couldn’t share a bed, and the bed could have been made up during the loooong check in process. Staff were nice and friendly but…and then the promised shuttle to the airport got stuck in traffic. Again, understandable. However it then took over 30 minutes to organise a car from another hotel. Luckily we weren’t in a huge rush for our flight, but…

The thing that really bothered us was we felt a bit ripped off. It’s an airport hotel so you can probably expect that customers will show up at odd hours and want to stay for odd hours too. If booked for 2nd to 3rd October as our flight was arriving at 4.30am on the 2nd and we needed to get a flight the following day at 14.30. Paid in advance on booking.com but when we got there we were forced to pay an extra early check in charge. This despite the fact that we weren’t actually going to spend a night (the night of the 2nd) at the hotel. There wouldn’t have been another way to book our stay (day bookings aren’t possible on booking.com) and we just think this is off seeing as many customers will like us need to arrive and leave at strange times for flights given it’s an airport hotel next to one of the busiest airports in the world. Plus of course people are often arriving at check in tired and groggy from long flights and we felt a bit taken advantage of. In that state all you want is to get to your bed as soon as possible. On this basis we probably wouldn’t stay again or recommend to others.
