My friend and I had a much needed movies day in and what better way to kick start this with some super-scrumptious indo-chinese cuisine from China Wok Restaurant. Our lunch started off with their ‘Devil Chicken’: succulent pieces of chicken cubes tossed in their spicy sauce along with capsicum and onions. Loved the tangy tones of this dish, the chicken was seasoned well and had the perfect flavours. Next up, ‘Honey Fillet Chicken’: I usually don’t like the combination of sweet and savoury dishes but this here was an exception. Tender slices of chicken, coated in a mild honey gravy with subtle hints of spice made this main dish too good! . The honey was not overwhelming, it had the right amount of sweetness and the thinly sliced chicken made it even perfect.

‘Crispy Tenderloin’: juicy strips of beef tenderloin fried and coated in their gravy topped with shredded carrots and bell peppers. This dish is so crunchy and rich with flavours and all my favourite ingredients. Do note that we ordered them to be mildly spiced but oh boyy!!! It was hot yet addictive, we loved it! . Pairing our main dishes with non other than our most loved ‘Schezwan Fried Rice’ and the normal ‘Fried Rice’. It was so calming to have this with the normal fried rice since our meats and poultry were spicy and so was the schezwan. No matter how good the quality of food one may cater to, service levels can take that down with ease. Quality irrespective, a customer is paying for what he or she gets. I placed an order on Zomato, at a time when the restaurant was showing live on the app, which in short means it can take the order. It was almost midnight and after placing the order, I relaxed watching TV waiting for the food. When the delivery did not come in, I checked the app after more than 45 minutes and get to know that the restaurant cancelled my order. Usually if one places an order on Zomato, I have seen restaurants calling me in case a specific item is not available. In this case I didn't get any call to just intimate me that the order was being cancelled. And at that time there were hardly any other options for me to place other orders. I reepect food but what we ate at China wok on 05 may 24 at Al qusais was not good at all good ,we had ordered chicken munchow soup it was smelling so bad that we had to return it back , not edible at all , then we ordered for chicken fried rice again the chicken was smelling so bad that I just stopped eating and left the food aside , the chicken lollipop was just ok not that great and we -also had ordered for beef chili which was fine … me and my friend we will never ever visit China wok at Al Qusais again ..please inform ur Chef that’s a shame that the food was smelling so bad .even a family of 4 who was sitting next to us returned 1 dish because it was very sweet .. this shows that ur food is not good at all , if it was returned by 2 tables at the same time 👎.and over all we had to pay around 100 Aed for the food which we...
