THE BEST RAMEN IN DUBAI ❣️🌟 HANDS DOWNNNN !!!!!! 🌟🦭
No other place compares respectfully i am in LOVE with every single aspect of the ramen here, i usually get the classic although I’ve tried the daikan OG before as well and it definitely is the best ramen option here ( though im a bit weak with spice, its not too spicy ).
The city walk one is superior to all other branches i believe because the atmosphere and vibes here are IMMACULATE. The interior is soooo well thought out and beautiful, simple and clean with a beautiful bar and lots of cool hip hop records and memorabilia- the music choice fits well too, always great fitting songs playing although id wish they’d play some nujabes because he really does fit the vibe perfectly.
I haven’t tried every dish here yet but i’m almost certain everything is perfect and really yum. I’ve tried the chicken karaage, california roll, salmon roll, crispy tuna bites and crab salad alongside the ramen everything has been awesome.
Today i had the classic ramen and the tokyo banana roll, the classic was as usual perfect, not too heavy but amazingly flavorful in every single aspect, that broth is liquid gold ON GODDDDD. The charsiu was so good, the EGG oh man that egg is insane. Everything just absolutely mind blowing im obsessed 🤓 The tokyo banana roll was very reminiscent to the popular tokyo banana sweet from japan, which resembles a fresh banana flavored twinkie? But this dessert was just that, 10 times better LOL. It was a soft sponge cake that had a burnt sugary crust like a crème brûlée and a banana custard inside, with a side of vanilla icecream and caramel to pour on top. It was insane and so light and perfect aauaghggggfgwgehg.
The staff here is always amazing, great vibes and super chill but Dennis today was particularly amazing, super attentive but not hovering around too much and just overall a great server!!! ❣️❣️❣️
I’ve been here countless times and will come back again countless more, daikan neverrrr fails to amaze me. Genuinely not just the best ramen but some of the best food in dubai and its very decently priced for what you’re getting...
Read moreDaikan Izakaya, City Walk – Delicious Food, Disappointing Service We were excited to dine at Daikan Izakaya, but the experience started off on the wrong foot. Despite having a reservation, we were given a tiny table meant for two, with an extra chair squeezed in for our party of three. The table was so small that fitting all our dishes was impossible. When we requested a bigger table or two tables combined, the staff initially refused, claiming everything was reserved—never mind that we had also reserved in advance. After some back and forth, they finally agreed to put two tables together, but the whole situation felt unnecessarily difficult.
Food-wise, everything was excellent. We had the Daikan OG Ramen and the Classic Ramen—both flavorful and well-balanced. The shiitake gyoza, chicken thigh skewers, chicken wings, and cucumber salad were all delicious.
The real letdown was the sake incident. We specifically asked for it warm, and the hostess assured us it would be. But when it arrived, it was nearly ice-cold. When we questioned her, she insisted it was warm and then dodged the issue by saying they were running low and had only one more serving left. What did that have to do with our question? She could have simply said they don’t serve it warm instead of making up excuses.
On top of that, we couldn’t shake the feeling that the hostess assumed we didn’t know anything about Japanese food. She wasn’t particularly respectful in her responses, and it felt like we weren’t being taken seriously. The sake was mediocre and overpriced, and what was supposed to be 150ml felt like much less—probably because they really were running out.
This was a stark contrast to the DIFC branch, where the service was always professional and accommodating.
Overall, while the food was great, the lousy service at this location really brought down the experience. I’d consider coming back for the ramen, but definitely not for the...
