Allo Beirut - City Walk — Restaurant in Dubai

Was highly recommended by a friend, I decided to give Allo Beirut a shot, and my experience was fantastic. It all starts with the eye-catching facade, which is perfectly complemented by the impressive interior design.

A special shout-out to the staff, particularly Jan, who was incredibly friendly, inviting, and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and good vibes. The visibility of the chefs’ stations to guests adds a level of trust to the dining experience.

For appetizers, we tried the fattoush and spicy potato, which were excellent, though the raheb was quite humble. The mains included a variety of mixed grills cooked to perfection, a delightful pizza, and a somewhat disappointing dynamite shrimp that lacked the usual orange sauce and was simply spicy due to the spices. The Philadelphia steak, however, was a pleasant surprise with its unique sauce that took the flavor to new heights.

After the main courses, we had coffee and an avocado juice. Unfortunately, this part of the meal was a bit of a letdown—the coffee was too small and burnt, and the avocado juice, although categorized as a juice, was as thick as a dessert like muhallebi. On a brighter note, the meghleh dessert was a delightful new formula that tasted wonderful.

Had a fantastic experience at Allo Beirut; what a gem of a restaurant! From the moment we walked in, it felt like being transported to old downtown Beirut, with its retro seating, authentic atmosphere, and vibrant charm.

The food? Exceptional. Generous portions (and I mean humongous), beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Honestly, everything was delicious — but be warned: share your dishes unless you want to roll home like I nearly did! Note to self: next time, less gluttony, more pacing.

I like the fact that you can see through to the kitchens and every chef focussed and cooking the dishes and making sure that the kitchen space is clean and tidy, making all the culinary delights for us!

Special shoutout to Tony, Amir and John, who provided fabulous service with a warm, genuine smiles. He made sure every detail was looked after and truly made our visit feel special.
