My recent cruise trip in Dubai for New Year's Eve was far from the experience I had hoped for. The host, Fahad, contributed significantly to the overall dissatisfaction.
From the outset, our expectations were shattered. The website through which we reserved the trip explicitly mentioned a no-alcohol policy, yet we were shocked to witness numerous passengers openly drinking and smoking. It was not just a few isolated incidents; it was pervasive throughout the cruise.
Fahad, our supposed host, did little to address the discrepancy or manage the situation. His lack of control over the cruise environment left much to be desired. When we approached him with our concerns, he seemed indifferent and unresponsive.
The cruise itself had potential, given the stunning Dubai skyline and the allure of a New Year's Eve celebration. However, Fahad's poor hosting skills overshadowed any positive aspects. The atmosphere was chaotic, and the lack of organization made it challenging to enjoy the festivities.
Moreover, communication was a significant issue throughout the trip. The itinerary provided on the website did not align with the actual events on board. Key details were either misrepresented or omitted entirely, leaving passengers confused and frustrated.
Adding insult to injury, Fahad's behavior was unprofessional. He appeared disinterested in ensuring the satisfaction of the guests. It's disheartening to see someone in a hospitality role show such a lack of commitment to customer service.
In addition to these disappointments, our experience was further marred by an issue with our ticketing. Despite having ordered two kids' tickets well in advance, we were astonished when, upon arrival, we were asked to pay for the kids' entry separately. This unexpected demand was not only inconvenient but also contradicted the terms of our initial reservation.
In summary, my New Year's Eve cruise experience in Dubai was marred by misleading information, a lack of organization, and a host, Fahad, who failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I would caution anyone considering this cruise to manage their expectations and be wary of the discrepancies between what is promised and what...
Read moreThe dhow cruise itself is entertaining and wonderful. However, there are certain notes regarding this tour that should be considered when booking: We booked for the Dubai Creek Cruise at 85 AED per person which supposedly should include unlimited soft drinks. However we are required to pay for each soft drink we order. The Ticket states that the boarding will be done at station 5 which is quite far from the actual boarding gate of 2C. In addition, the location of boarding is quite hard to find, which almost result for us missing the tour, with no sufficient marks indicating the Company Tour Dubai. Even the Security Guard is not aware about the Company name.
Hope that accurate information are published in its website to properly inform and guide Tourist specially those who visit the location for...
Read moreI recently experienced the Al Seef Dhow Cruise in Old Dubai, and it was a captivating journey through the city's rich heritage. Gliding along the serene waters of Dubai Creek, the cruise offered panoramic views of historic landmarks, blending the charm of the past with the vibrancy of the present. The traditional wooden dhow provided an authentic ambiance, complemented by a delightful dinner buffet featuring a mix of Arabic and international cuisines. Live music and dance performances added to the festive atmosphere, making the evening truly memorable. The staff was attentive and ensured a comfortable experience throughout. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in Dubai's cultural tapestry while enjoying a relaxing evening on the water, the Al Seef Dhow Cruise...
