Food Souk Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

The Food Souk Restaurant at Park Regis Bussiness Bay Hotel was our choice for a family buffet iftar. The restuarant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has a very beautiful ambience and different types of seatings for families and corporate iftars and dinners . I was impressed by their food stations which had a wide range of freshly prepared food , exquisite appetizing salads and tasty desserts. Juices, coffee and tea are also there. I really loved their yummy salads which were very beautifully presented too. My kids loved the desserts specially cheese cake. My husband loved their biryani, noodles and pasta which was being prepared live by the chef. So there is something for the whole family and Ill call it the perfect place to take your family out for iftar, lunch or dinner. They have special discounted prices for large groups and companies too. The staff is very efficient and polite . The atmosphere is lovely and the prices are very reasonable . I found online valentine's dinner offer in this restaurant and I was really happy about what was mentioned in the price. Unfortunately, it was far away from truth, It was really terrible experience and I felt embarrassed in the front of my wife. What was wrong:

There was nobody in the reception to greet us Before we even ate anything, they gave us cake. Person, who provided us with cake did not speak English It was supposed to 4 course set menu, it was a very limited buffet Staff was hiding in the kitchen, nobody was outside to see if guest need something Staff started coming out from the kitchen the moment customers were living. It was clear that they are happy people are leaving.

We booked a breakfast and pool access deal through Groupon. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and guided to the restaurant. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, which we really appreciated.

While the pool itself wasn’t particularly impressive, our daughter had a great time, which made the experience worthwhile. The pool water was pleasantly warm—thanks to the lifeguard who ensured the temperature was comfortable.
