Update: 26.02.2024
I have removed two stars from my original review which has given the venue 5 stars before and the reason is the following : After having dinner and paying the bill I approached the manager and told her that I have a suggestion regarding our experience. We ordered a drink I believed called “ blood Orchid” and we noticed that it had a very strong smell of egg, I asked the hostess if it had egg whites since the description in the menu did not mention egg white and she confirmed. So after the full payment of the bill including the drink, I told the lady who I believe was the manager that if a drink has egg white, it’s best to be mentioned in the menu because not everyone can tolerate such a strong smell and taste and she started explaining that every drink which has sugar and lemon has egg white… I personally ,as someone who tries all the restaurants and always orders cocktails can say that it was the first time I sensed such a strong and disgusting taste and smell of egg in a cocktail that hasn’t mentioned egg in the ingredients. I found her approach very unprofessional and her justification unacceptable not to mention that if her logic stands then why the other two drinks we ordered earlier ( both having sugar and lemon) did not taste and smell like a rotten egg? You know a business is descending once the manager starts defending a mistake instead of accepting the comment , learning from it and improving. Very disappointing!

Ambience: Fantastic decor. Such a well designed restaurant which provides different sitting options. Loved the ceilings and how creative the design have been. There is an indoor and outdoor sitting option but the interior is so nicely done that I personally prefer the indoor. The vibe is great. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
Food : Without a doubt one of the best food in Dubai! The burger was by far one of the best burgers I have had in Dubai . Calamari was just perfect. The salad and fries very fresh . The steak was great too. Overall the food was great in terms of the quality of ingredients , taste and the size of portions . The only issue was that we ordered our steak medium well but when it was served it was well done! The drinks were super refreshing. The cocktails are for sure a must try. Loved everything about the food and the best part was the dessert. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
Service: Superb. One of the best reservation systems I had to deal with . I booked online and a week ahead but after 3 days I noticed nobody has called me to confirm so I called the restaurant and i realized that I not only made the mistake while booking with the date ( I booked for the 29th July when I wanted to dine there on the 22nd ) but I also made a mistake with one digit of my phone number and that was why they couldn’t reach me. Any way the lady who was on the phone with me trying to fix my mistake with the booking was so patient and positive that I was truly impressed with her attitude and great customer service! This level of customer service at the reservation is very hard to come by so congratulations to the management for being able to creat such a great experience for the guests even over the phone. The service during dining was impeccable too. Very attentive, helpful and positive staff . Well done. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at hunter and barrel, and it was an exceptional culinary experience that exceeded my expectations. The highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the perfectly cooked t bone steaks that showcased the chef's impeccable skill and dedication to quality.
From the moment I entered, the ambiance set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The warm, inviting decor, attentive staff, and a carefully curated menu immediately caught my attention. But it was the steaks that truly stole the show.
Each cut of meat was expertly selected, seasoned to perfection, and cooked to the exact temperature requested. The sear on the outside was a work of art, locking in all the savory juices, while the interior was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you prefer a classic ribeye, a melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon, or a richly marbled wagyu, this restaurant delivers excellence with each bite.
Beyond the steaks, the accompaniments were thoughtfully crafted to complement the main dish. The selection of sides, from fron chunky chip potatoe fries to charred seasonal vegetables, was as impressive as the main course. Even the sauces, from classic peppercorn to a rich red wine reduction, were the perfect finishing touch.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, with the staff displaying a deep understanding of the menu and offering excellent wine pairings to enhance the meal.
Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the state of the toilets, specifically the disabled toilet, which I had to use due to my current disability. The toilet was in a poor state smelly, dirty, and seemingly used as a mop room. To make matters worse, the staff member responsible for monitoring the toilet was extremely rude, exhibiting a level of hostility I have never encountered in any establishment. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable and tarnishes the restaurant's otherwise excellent reputation. I strongly recommend that management address the cleanliness of the facilities and reconsider the attitude and role of the staff member responsible.
In a world where finding consistently great steaks can be a challenge, the restaurant stands out for its exceptional cuisine, but it must improve its restroom facilities and customer service to offer a truly flawless...

We came here for a family dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Declining starters to “save my appetite for the steak experience” turned out to be a mistake I’d regret.
The evening started well enough—great ambiance and a pairing we thoroughly enjoyed, at least for a short while. But then the chaos began.
When serving the food, the waitress managed to spill fries all over the table, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, she then dropped them again—this time on me. Directly onto my white formal shirt, no less, as I had come straight from the office. She apologized, scooped the fries back into the bowl, and brought it back in record time, leaving me questioning whether it was even replaced.
Then came the tomahawk steak—an impressive cut, which the staff sliced at the table to showcase its juiciness. But the first bite revealed a major problem: a charred, inedible layer coated the entire surface of the steak. By the time we realized just how bitter and burnt it tasted, we were guzzling sparkling water just to wash it down—three bottles, a restaurant hydration record for me.
When I complained to the manager, he claimed the burnt layer was part of a “special sauce” and suggested I request they skip it next time. Next time? Seriously?
Determined to salvage the inner part of the steak, I found myself shaving off the charred exterior. A proper steak shouldn’t require such surgery!
Despite the disaster, we left a piece of it for the chef, urging the staff to take it back with a message: perhaps the chef should consider a career as a firefighter given their apparent knack for burning everything.
The first picture shows the burnt layer I left behind—what should have been the highlight of the meal.
The evening wasn’t over yet. When I later ordered a cocktail, the same waitress managed to spill a glass of red, narrowly missing me only because I was shielded by the menu. At least the cocktail itself was good.
To summarize: • Drinks: Delicious. • Service: Embarrassing. • Steak: A complete disaster.
