Read moreTheir food was amazing, we were first presented with fried papad and fryums, mint chutney, and beetroot, I ordered the kabab platter which contained 4 variants of chicken kabab and 1 mutton kabab, there was about 3-4 pieces of each and came with a little naan, Daal Makhani, A quarter of a lemon to squeeze, Kale, and A little salad. I forgot to take pictures of the kabab platter but it was served on a large wooden tray and presented beautifully. I also took the Oreo milkshake it was delicious but it didn’t really taste like Oreo it was more of vanilla milkshake with Oreo on top but nonetheless it was still good. Then there was the Chicken makhan masala which was so amazing and delicious i would 100% recommend and the naan was also amazing. There was also the Lukhnawi chicken biriyani I forgot to take a picture of the inside but let me tell you it was amazing. Some of the best biriyani I’ve eaten and I was ascending when I ate it with the Chiken makhan masala. Then finally we have the Chocolate cake which was so thick and rich I loved it but let me warn you it is very thick and you won’t feel like finishing it if you ate a lot before, and because of how thick it is it’s not for everyone but I would still recommend that you give it a try. Overall 10/10...
Read moreSuch a regal experience to enjoy modern Indian cuisine. Everything from the flavours of the dishes, to the ambience and the service, went beyond our expectations.
For appetisers, we had Jalebi Chaat, Pani se Puri Tak, Pepper Cauliflower, Murgh Malai Afghani and masala papad. I can see why Jalebi Chaat comes highly recommended and the unique flavours of Pepper Cauliflower definitely surprised us! The subtle uses of different spices and herbs balanced each dish’s flavours.
For mains, we had the chef’s recommended Daab Chingri, a Bengali shrimp curry with a coconut milk base, and Murgh Kurchan, a North Indian chicken dish tossed in peppers. To go with it, an assortment of fresh naan breads.
The meals were perfectly paired with our refreshing drinks, the Amazonia and Jaljeera. Apart from the delicious flavours of every dish served, it is also the regal decor of the restaurant that stands out. The large posters from the Mughal era, the black and gold pillars, and the plush velvety seating, offer a complete royal experience.
Thank you Arti for your attentive service. Thank you @jehangir for the hospitality and @excel...
