I am a lover of Patchi chocolates for 10 years now, to the extent that, whenever I crave for good chocolate, I go to a nearby store, buy 200gms of their milk chocolate with nuts and finish the pack in 10 minutes, literally! However, today's experience at Patchi Burjuman was very disappointing. No smiles or readiness to help from any staff. I wanted to buy a decent Diwali gift for one of our clients and there weren't many options (of different sizes, quantities and ready in festive packing). When I mentioned this to the lady at the store and was giving Diwali gifting suggestions to be passed on to her higher-ups, she just got very defensive and wouldn't allow me to finish my sentences. I felt very embarrassed and apologised for giving suggestions to which she said 'you have the right to give suggestions'. Are you sure? Then, why don't you please allow me to talk!? When the supervisor tried to check with her as to what the discussion was about, this same lady had a sort of an irritated tone that I was asking for something that they don't have. I totally understand if I was rude or raised my voice while I was talking to her but I was not. I was polite (but disappointed) all through and just requested to pass on my suggestion to the concerned authorities. I ended up buying a AED500 box which did not have the festive look. I had a distressing experience at the store recently. The staff members were very unwelcoming and seemed to lack basic communication skills. Despite being a loyal customer for the past 12 years, I felt deeply disrespected during my recent visit. The level of customer service was extremely poor, with none of the staff even bothering to greet or smile at the customers, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. When I asked for samples, the response from the staff was extremely negative, and it seemed like they were reluctant to even provide them. This was particularly disappointing as I have been a loyal patron of the brand for many years.

Moreover, the unhelpful attitude of the staff made it seem like they were not interested in selling their products. The behavior of the staff members was unprofessional and gave the impression that they did not value their customers. Even when I wished to make a significant purchase of 3kgs of chocolates, I was informed that I could only receive a maximum of three samples. This left a very sour taste in my mouth, and I felt extremely disrespected and devalued as a customer.

The overall experience was very disappointing, especially for a renowned brand like Patchi. It is disheartening to receive such poor service from a company with a strong reputation.
