Walking into Ladurée Dubai Mall was not just an afternoon tea, it was an initiation into intimacy 💫. Though I am legally blind, I wasn’t met with pity, but with something far more alluring — une étreinte invisible, an embrace felt in the air. The staff moved around me with such douceur it felt like fingertips grazing skin ✋✨.

The Signature Ladurée Blend was no simple tea 🍵. It unfolded slowly, like a body revealed: rose 🌹 and vanilla 🍦 parting like lips, cinnamon and caramel 🔥 lingering like warm breath against the neck. Each sip was a caress, a velvet whisper that refused to fade.

Then the macarons — not pastries, but touches disguised as flavor: • Rose Pétale 🌹 — dissolving like a kiss stolen too soon 💋. • Framboise 🍓 — sharp, playful, a bite on the edge of pleasure 😏. • Pistache 🌿 — regal, velvet, like a palm pressed firmly in place 🤲. • Vanille 🍨 — calm after fire, skin cooling, glowing ✨. • Café ☕️ — dark, grounding, like a whisper at midnight 🌙.

For me, legally blind, taste becomes sight, flavor becomes memory. Each bite shimmered like lumière turned into sensation ⚡️. To taste was to be touched. To bite was to surrender.

What astonished me most was not just the patisserie, but the way I was held within the moment 🤍. I was not “the blind guest.” I was the focus of une scène intime — treated almost like a bride, unveiled in ceremony 👰. The bill read AED 261, but what I carried away was beyond price: une trace, lingering, like desire itself.

An institution of classy food according to the old parisian fine dining legacy, Laduree was always a charm for the connoisseurs. I went in for the first time here, yesterday, and was suitably impressed. The soft pastel interior wall papers with mirror works and delicate designs are the nostalgic continental artworks. They have an all day breakfast menu with desserts and drinks menu, separately but with similar soft colour coding. Very comfortable seating chairs/sofas with an enclosed area in the passage of Dubai mall too. Service is extraordinary and very friendly and cooperative. Much appreciate the efforts of support staffs. They have the new and extremely popular Lunch menu served at the Laduree in the fashion avenue extension also. Immediately after taking your seat, you will be brought a lovely couple of baguettes with signature butter- both are special. The cutleries need special mention, old school, heavy and age old nobility. ●My orders- ■ Soft eggs with Asparagus. 59 dhs. 5/5. The eggs can be boiled custom made, I opted for the medium boiled. The brioche bread below was superlative. One of the very best I have ever taken. Perfect balance crunchiness, the eggy taste and softness. Avocado puree was soft and fresh. And ohh those plump asparaguses, not a single thread of dry fibre there. Brilliant shopping from the company and steamed lovingly. The best of the best. Loved the item. ■ Macarons. At 13 dhs each, I had 3 of them- pistachio, caramel and vanilla. Again easily matches with the ones which I have taken from Paris. Gastronomic brilliance. French Toast: A golden, buttery masterpiece with a hint of vanilla—soft, warm, and comforting. Iced French Latte: Smooth, creamy, and refreshing—perfect for cooling off after exploring Dubai Mall.

The staff is friendly, polished, and efficient. Despite the mall’s high foot traffic, service is attentive, and dishes arrive promptly.

Slightly on the pricey side, but the premium quality and the prime location inside Dubai Mall justify the cost. Ideal for a splurge-worthy brunch or afternoon treat.
